Just noticed these have popped up on Ticketmaster but only for the one night?

I assume these are tickets for the little purple tables by the side of the stage?

£250?!?!?

Seems all dates are available now.

For whatever reason they obviously haven't been able to sell them. They were never released previously so i can only assume that they were trying to sell them to companies.

I would think they'd rather have the areas busy rather than empty during the show so it may well be a case of 'normal' floor ticket holders being upgraded if these seats fail to sell. Or worth a try of getting a swap if that's what you fancy?

Whatever the reason/situation i can't see any normal fan forking out £250. Most that were eager to get close would have already bought the £235 VIP tickets anyway, and others have managed to get floor seats or excellent close up lower tier seats for £31.21. So i'm a little lost who these 250 quid seats are aimed at!

These tickets should be the VIP package and not the one most of us (including myself) paid for.

Now these seats are stage side and you get comp dinks & nibbles. At a cost of +£15 on the VIP seats sold to us.

In hindsight I would have bought these tickets; however no way can I justify the expendicture now.

They are being advertised for the next 15 shows starting with 10th Aug show.

Are we defintely sure these are tables and high chairs right next to the stage inside the red rope. if so I'd love to try it once... The trust factor is such an issue though. will they deliver good on their promise on will they insert some next tables and chairs behind the drum kit to give you the guaranteed worst seats in the house. or maybe they'll build a mini symbol stage by the toliets and put you there stating you are close to the stage, but not the one Prince is performing on. AEG reserves the right to blah ...blah ...blah...

would love to understand what people think. without sounding negative [ I am loving these shows ] my trust levels are at an all time low !!

Well I am wondering what these stage suites are about (you can't book anyway as when u go to it it says overseas residents only and you cant select UK in the country and the card details have tomatch registered address....) So don'#t know what they are doing.

Anyway I must be very lucky and my boss is completely bonkers sometimes. He knows how mad I am about Prince...He asks me what are the best tickets and and would I get a chance to meet him and shake hands and he can take a picture !! I said there won't be any hand shaking or camera;s and the best seats are £250 (if you can get them !) He tells me to go ahead and book four, us two and two others! He's like " I really want you to meet him and I would pay £250 for that easy".. What is he on ? I sai dnaa I can't let you pay that much.. Then he is asking me the next day if I have booked them yet and he wants to go too so then tried to get some but can't as the site won't let you anyway !

What do you reckon ? Leave it ? Is he a good boss or what !?

Reading what people are saying they might be a rip off anyway !?

See the pictures of the stage elsewhere on the forum, the seats theyhave been unsuccessful in trying to sell are most likely what's left epsecially this late on. Besides the way they have been ripping people off over the VIP gold cirlce seating nonsense, then selling what's left nearer the day of the event is just plain wrong. There is no garauntee that you will get on stage either, as last time I went no one went on, and the entourage selects those who go on, mainly from stage/front row but also from the seating area on the floor. I would say that it is money that could be spent on better seating on the floor further away for several dates, stage seats are too close to the high stage (over 7').

Not too bothered about being pulled onto the stage or anything. But seeing my boss up there would be the funniest thing EVER !! That would be worth it ! i'll try and find these "purple seats" locations as you say they are in the forum somewhere.

Can't understand why they say "currently unavailable" most of the time. then you look again and they are there again but you can't book em ! what are they playin at !?

I should have been clearer, the seats are not behind but next to the band as you can see from this pic the purple seats are tucked away inside the loop on either side, and as P faces forward majority of the time you would be staring at the back of his head. Also from hear there is no access to stage via steps so unlikely to be selected, and the chances are those better stage suits have been sold off to corporate people already.

Be warned, the food given to VIP's is vegan. No read meat, white fish or funky blue cheese. The drinks are herbal tea

my heads spinning .... tm dont know where these seats r and i dont want to pay all that dosh for another seat where i dont know where i will be sitting. if i get to dance on stage, its worth it. i tried to purchase and only could get 1 ticket for the 9th sept. other dates not available yet.

I have to confess that in a slightly drunken haze, I stumped up for two of these....I couldn't resist it - they are for 21/9 - any other night and I wouldn't have bothered. "Seats to be allocated on the night" which is TM speak for "you're about to get shafted."

As it turns out, my sister (for whom ticket 2 was bought by me as a brotherly treat) might not be able to come so there may be one going at face value if anyone wants to take a punt. I'll know by beginning of Sept and post accordingly. If anyone's interested, let me know.

Well to let you guys know.. I still can't book through TM (will try the auction thing as mentioned by endorphinuk, thanks).. Tried ringing them, they have no idea why you cant book from UK, also tried ringing AEG hospitatlity, O2 box office and no-one has a clue about what is going on !..

Wish me luck anyway..
