Would have loved to see 3121 as an opener, it was top of my list for songs to open with. Going tommorow, he could start with baa baa black sheep and I wouldn't care - can't wait to finally see him!

I'm probably in the minority but I really dislike the song "3121" - I find it deeply boring.

It's a LONG way from being a favourite of mine. But when I heard the live version a while back it totally made me change my mind about it as a live track. I can just imagine the bass pumping in the arena and adrenalin running. Perfect opener (well...I imagine hehe).

Aparently Beverley Knight was supporting last night. Would have loved to see her tommorow (my first Prince show ever biggrin ) but she has her own gig elsewhere. Although I am seeing her in November so I can't complain. Hope that she went down well and converted some of the audience into fans

The Dance was on the setlist for the First Avenue concert but the show was shut down before he got to it. One of the ones I really wanted to hear! In London was it really the whole version with all the screamin' at the end and everything? Or just an abbreviated version?

HELLO EVERYBODY!

I've just got back from tonight's concert. Beverley Knight was the support act and she was great.

I can't remember the order Prince sang them but here's a random list from memory. More will probably come to me later.

Sshhhh
Satisfied
Girls and Boys
Raspberry Beret
Cream
Purple Rain
Lets Go Crazy
Controversy
3121
Sometimes in Snows in April
Kiss
Play that Funky Music
Nothing Compares 2 U
Little Red Corvette

He did nothing from Planet Earth!

Oh I can't remember what else right now. Sorry! My head's buzzing!

It was a great great show though and I can't wait to go again!

Really Not even guitar?

Very odd. Prince seems to much prefer 3121 to PE.

Nope - NOTHING from Planet Earth at all. I know I can't remember everything he did tonight but he definitely didn't do anyting from Planet Earth. Definitely not. Was a great show though. Managed to changed my F1 tickets to block 102 after a row at Customer Services. Glad I did. It ain't good round the back there.

Bit odd. We've had Lolita, Black Sweat, 3121, The Dance, Get On the Boat and Satisfied from an old and fairly unsuccessful album, and very little from the brand new one, which sits in 3 million UK households!?!

He definitely didn't do Lolita or Black Sweat tonight and I note from the postings on here that he's done them just about every other night.

I'd love him to do The 1 U Wanna C from Planet Earth. I love it and I think he'd get a good response from the audience. Even my 5 year old daughter sings it! Probably because I've brainwashed her. She also sings Future Baby Mama and today she was singing Controversy!

He came on at 9 and went off at 11 so two hours.
The audience were super lively - it was a great atmosphere. A Mexican wave went round about 6 times while we were waiting for P to come on - always a highlight of a live concert for me! Plus it was a full house. And I mean full. There wasn't an empty seat in sight - even the upper tiers were full to the rafters.

I really didn't want it to end tonight. I haven't had such a good time in ages. My next one is 1st September. I also have tickets for 6th September but they're in block F1 again and I won't rely on my luck to get them changed again so i'll give those to my brother. Then I'm going on 16th September and then the final night 21st September. And then it'll all be over and I'll feel empty sad

Too bad about leaving off anything from PE

Come on P - you are doing the same stuff too much and you have yet to play The 1 U Wanna C for anybody (expcept for a snippet in MPLS I hear...)
The greatest live performer of our times was is and always will be Prince.

man, he has such an amazing body of music that it's sad to see him constrict it down to the basics. he's too talented for the lineup he's doing. estelle 81

Did you get a change of tickets at the venue on the night? Or was this over the phone? Where in the venue are customer services?

I've just remembered another he did last night - I Feel For You.

I tried for over a week before last night to get my tickets changed byt Ticketmaster were having none of it. Stuck rigidly to their policy of no exchange or refund. I spoke to customer services at O2 a few times and they said to just go straight to customer services on the night if I wasn't happy which I did last night. Firstly they told me that it was a sell-out and they had no spare tickets but after arguing that I made it known over a week prior to this that I had no intention of sitting in F1, they swapped my tickets to block 102 Row S which was great. Customer Services is situated in levels 1 and 4.

I'm with you on that one. 3121 is a very dull song and shouldnt open an album let alone a gig,

Friday nights setlist was very poor. It was a rare "bad day in the office" for Prince

you are a funkin retard! friday nights show was amazing. the solo to shhh was breathatking as was satisfied - the best live version i have ever heard!

if you think the setlist was so bad what would your dream setlist be? there are too many fans like you who have to complain about everything. ffs the man is doing 21 shows, including aftershows, we cant expect every single show to be absolutley amazing.

personally i thought the show was amazing, and faultless!
