hi, we dropped our mate off last Wednesday after the gig and it cost £11.00 in a taxi. Yes it's near the 02 but a swine to find!

Hi,i Stayed there with my wife on the opening night, its very easy to get to the 02 if you use the DLR/Tube.When you exit the hotel turn right and follow the road signs to London city airport (its about a 7 min walk) once in the terminal take the esculator upstairs for the DLR,the trains seemed to arrive every 5 mins or so.stay on until you get to Canning Town (about 3 stops)
Once your at Canning Town take the Jubilee west line, the very next stop is North Greenwich aka The 02! it roughly took us half an hour from hotel room to the 02.
We bought a day travel card for zones 1-4 for £5.50,so its very reasonable.have fun!

Yep did this with the wife on Friday very easy, for the return journey ask at hotel reception for the details of there preferred private hire car firm, they should give you a card, once out of the 02 give them a call we where picked up within 10 mins check the price before you get in we where charged £15 so pay no more than that, trust me some people qued for a cab for over an hour!

Travel Lodge London City is quite handy for O2. I stayed there last week for the 1st August show.

It's a 5 minute walk from the Airport/LDR Station. It's only about 4 stops, but you have to change trains once.

Good base in my opinion. I stayed at "The Academy" just off Tottenham Court Rd on Wednesday night. Had a suite biggrin but it wasn't very handy on the tube sad

Take the rough with the smooth I suppose

East India is i think the London Docklands T/lodge. When i looked it up at time off booking it says its 3 1/2 mile from O2 but the London City Airport T/lodge stated 2 mile. Silly me was thinkin it may have been within walkin distance lol. Anyways alls good wink lol & i'm counting down 2 the big day (16 days !! )
My stay in Travelodge will b 23rd-25th Aug.
Hopefully see a few fellow orgers there razz
