TenMo

Any more rooms left in the Holiday Inn Express for the 21st? Anyone got a sofa for a travelling Irish fella to sleep on for about two hours after the aftershow?!!!

Tenmo!!!

The area leading to the arena from the hotel has a lovely park to walk through...about halfway through the park is a little row of old houses and onthe end is a traditional looking pub called The Pilot Inn. We stopped there for a drink on the way and it was much more reasonably priced and was great sitting out in the sun! Could be a better venue for a drink before the show.

Sounds cool, myself and best friend are going to the show, aftershow and are staying in the Holiday Inn Express - we are staying there for the Aug 17th show too - I can not wait!!!!!

PS Yeah I few bevvy's will go down a treat!

Time to get things sorted for the pre-show party. Time peeps how does 4.30 sound. Anyone know of a good Public House where the drinks are at northern prices? Hit me with the ideas.

Not sure if anyone has posted yet, but the nearest pub is the Pilot Inn...looks quite picturesque and not too extortionate (the hotel bar is waaaayyy over priced!!).

Its only about a ten minute walk, halfway between the O2 and the hotel....if you go over the roundabout by the hotel to the little park that runs all the way to the O2 entrance, you'll find a little row of quaint terrace houses in the middle of the park....the end one is a traditional looking pub called the Pilot Inn:-

Perhaps its best to all still meet at the Holiday Inn and then stroll over to the Pilot Inn together ....its only about a ten minute walk.

What does everyone think?? Four o'clock at the Holiday Inn for the meet??

We'll have some of that! We're not staying at the Holiday Inn as we live only a 25 minute drive away from the 02 but we (myself and my brother Mentalist) would be up for meeting at the Holiday Inn at 4 and then going to the Pilot Inn. I have to go to the Holiday Inn anyway I think to collect glow sticks and T shirts.

From what I remember reading on a Rolling Stones website, the landlord at the Pilot Inn was quite accommodating when it came to letting folks play their Rolling Stones CDs.

Might be worth checking with him to see if he'll be ok with that again.

For those who missed the order deadline, you could always order your own but I fear you'll have to get the order in tomorrow (wednesday) if it's to arrive by Friday on the 2 day express service.

I'm happy to send the mock-ups and attachments to anyone who emails me on lordmarcusmont@mac.com but I'll be away from my laptop (something called work) from about 830am UK time in the morning and back about 6pm.

I must have missed the boat on the t-shirt thing. I only get internet access at work unfortunately so I'm not always up to date with the Org goings-on...I'd be interested to see what the t-shirt looks like though if someone has a pic...I can then spot me fellow Orgers on Friday in the show which will be cool!!
