Could you give me some pointers of where to look on the Holiday Inn webiste....£59 for a room sounds alot better than the £189 I'm currently paying!! I presume this is at the Holiday Inn Express just down from the arena as well??? I've clicked on the "Leisure Breaks" box but can't seem to get much further.

No worries...had another look around and found the right section and it was indeed £59. Found the reservation line up and said that I'd found it alot cheaper online and they changed it right over for me...the only difference is I had to pay for the room now and I've lost the opportunity of cancelling the reservation!! Cheeky sods never gave me that option when I phoned to book the other night though...money grabbing gits!! lol

Great to hear u got the room deal, that leaves more cash for partying right.

I had a little trouble finding it, but got there in the end....got me a double room from £189 down to £59!! Bargain:-

http://www.ichotelsgroup....d=8900529&

Then click on the box that says "Leisure Breaks", then the "Go Discover" box, then under where is says "Great Offers - Room from £49 a night" click the "Find Out More" box...then click the large green box that says "Click to book your bed & breakfast...".

Then just put in the details you want (you'll want to search for Holiday Inn Express) and there ya go!

DaveT - thanks for this link. I was just going to post on the site to say our reservation had been rejected because the hotel must be full, then went through the link that you'd detailed, and we're in.

Woohoo! This is where the purple party people be!

No probs!....I got the tip from Weaverstreet about booking it online to get it cheaper so credit goes to him. I think he's already got me for a thank you pint in the hotel bar!! And I believe I owe you and your other half a drink for the tickets as well....I best have a scrounge down the back of the sofa for some extra pennies! biggrin

Which hotel is this exactly? The one in Southwark? I've just looked and can get Hilton Docklands for £105 for the night. It's much closer to the O2 too. Hmm. But you lot are having a party sad

Trust me, you won't find a closer hotel to the arena than the Holiday Inn Express...check out the link for a map showing the location...15/20 minute walk at most. Just a little walk up the Millennium Way from the Bugsby Way roundabout (see where it says Holiday Inn Express on the link below for a plan):-

Come along anyways and meet up at the Holiday Inn express, its about 0.7miles from the O2 on the right side of the river. Just a stroll thru the park and ur there.

Just checked out the Holiday Inn Express link for myself. Those cheeky buggers have removed the offer! I think that someone may have tipped them off by ringing up to change their rate.
