These aftershows were advertised as a chance 2 get on stage and jam with Prince, not only has he rarley played, there has been no hint of this at all, there has been much said about these no shows n i dont want 2 get 2 involved wit it all, but the statement about prince n the n.p.g not being garauntead 2 play appeard WELL after most had paid 4 tix, n this is a fact, many clued up orgers guessed that this would b the case but its still not on, as 4 the chance 2 jam with prince, this is as much of a ploy 2 get n keep peeps in there, as was his guitar, mic and pedels staying there 4 the first 3 songs from dr john..just a wee ploy 2 keep us from tearing the joint up...

i actualy felt quite sorry 4 dr john, most were staring left towards the back stage area hoping 4 a glimpse of prince, what a few of us saw was prince dressed in black wit the doorag on, shaking his head and walkin down the stairs, no prince 2 night. having said that the 2 shows i seen were fukin amazing and al b back 4 the 17, 18, 28 n all the aftershows, hell am funked right up!

Saturdays aftershow was totally shit!!! Nikka Costa constantly screeching and wailing her fucking ass off!! Prince showed up for a 5 - 10 minute guitar solo and then went off leaving Nikka 2 bore us shitless!!I even screamed out "We want Prince, not U!!!"

Some of Princes band members came on and jammed, but it was mostly Nikka Costa!!

It was a total letdown for me as it was my first ever aftershow, as with previous concerts I had 2 leave soon after, cos my husband wanted 2 get home, but this time I went with my Platonic freind and had total freedom 2 do what I wanted!!!!

I'm glad that someone else has the bottle to say it like it is.

Even though I knew that it was very unlikely that Prince would be playing the all 21 aftershow gigs I still bought the tickets for both Friday and Saturday night aftershows for last weekend. I was there both nights, together with my non-fan wife. We both had a fantastic time at the concerts, but the aftershow was a terrible experience. The fact that nobody at the O2 would actually commit to the *truth* that Prince would not be playing on Friday, even at 3am in the morning, was utterly disappointing.

I was raised to conform to a religion and no longer practise my faith but consider myself a person of good values and I know the difference between right and wrong. What Ticketmaster, AEG, or whomever is involved in the marketing/sale of these aftershow tickets is doing is ethically wrong. If Prince were to read these posts then I'm sure that he would agree. No matter who your God is, what your religion is, there is right and wrong, and the sale of Prince Official Aftershow tickets for a party, concert, night club experience without Prince is deceiving and simply wrong.
