I wondered where it said that on 3121.com too. I've looked but can't find it. Based on your assumed "trend", what would it be this weekend - Friday or Saturday? It would be this Sat 1st. I went last Sat and no show as he showed Fri night. Previous week Sat 18th he showed. Nice hat. Week before he showed Fri 10th. I reckon thats the trend at the moment. PeACe & B WiLd | |

Having seen the main show on the 7th August and stupidly making the worst decision of my life by not to attending the following aftershow - which was AMAZING by all accounts - I bought tickets for the after show on the 13th Sept - does anyone reckon he will turn up???
Oh I have everything crossed that he does - took 4 hours to get down on the 7th and 5 1/2 hours to get back! Please please please Princey show up - i couldn't afford any more main show tickets - go on please!! Like pretty much everyone else, I'm trying to hatch a theory over which nights Prince is likely to perform. The alternate Friday/Saturday scenario seems a popular one, although wasn't he DUE to perform on Saturday 11th, then switched to Friday at the last minute?
I've got another theory, which someone who's been to the aftershows may be able to set me straight on. Could Prince be performing on packed nights only? I just thought if Indigo sales are a bit lighter he doesn't turn up. What do you think? Has anyone been to a 'no-show' and a 'show' and noticed a difference in attendence? I've got to make a journey into London just for an aftershow on Friday, potentially to stand there and have a drink to some background music. But it's sod's law, if I don't go he'll turn up! Ah, well, there you go, no show from the man last night... i guess luck's in for those going tonight. That long journey home in the early hours was tough last night.

Yeah, this is a great reference. Hence me writing to get this top of the pile! Sounds like he did perform last night... maybe Squirrel's enjoying a well deserved recovery due to attending! 
Sadly I only had tickets for Friday's aftershow though. But this is helping me work out strategies for actually getting to see Prince at one of these aftershows (I'm not bitter, really!?)

What's the latest tips? With weekends, I have not yet found a formula. I also attended the friday one but hustled myself a ticket on saturday when at the main show it became apparent he would be there. With weekday shows, I am currently hoping that shows on single nights (ie. no show on a day either side), he will show. But honestly, I think the formula is, there is no formula. As the Ticketmaster website says "with these cats, expect the unexpected". Best advise in my book. Although, a good explosive audience response at the main show & aftershow would definately help. He was apparently at the side of the stage on friday for 30mins but left. The crowd was pretty luke warm on friday! |
