was there support everynight so far? i thought he came on at 8 on other nights?

There was certainly no support on wednesday. I don't think there was on Friday, but I wasn't there so I can't say for certain.

Nikka Costa's first night was Saturday, crowd were a bit dull for her but they treated her well at the club.

Yes, the crowd were a bit reserved for her - isn't that always the case with support bands? but I thought she rocked! She certainly made me sit up & pay attention. I'm now going to see what the rest of her stuff is like.

She didn't really get the crowd going in the arena, but she rocked in the club. Some artists are more suited to smaller venues, think she's 1 of them. Nice of Prince to show up at the aftershow for 5 minutes. Bit longer would have been nice!
Main show last night was good. Not the best I've seen. Got a lot of Prince the singer, not enough of Prince the musician. Probably spent less than half the show with a guitar. And would it kill him to sit down at the piano once in a while? He's nearly 50, the rest might do him good

The setlist isnt changing as much as I thought it would.

I've been to all three nights and I thought last night was the best so far. More dancing by P and the set was tight in that order.

i wonder if the support is just for weekend shows??
