The whole story We went from amsterdam to london on tuesdays and had a great day in the city.Wednesday we picked up the tickets for the golden seats and went back to the hotel to change and go to the savoypier for the Clippercruise.Was nice to enter the clipper and have a drink with a buffet.But all of the sudden we had to hurrie finishing diner because we had to get off - an hour early-because the had to go somewhere else.We got dropped instead of the promiss to bring us to our golden seats.Well...alll that glitter ain't gold...
We had to look for the right seats that went into a disaster.Because we had to go all the way around the o2 we where late.Prince sang 2 songs already and some people were drunk.We run to find our D1 seats and than i got slammed in the troat by a drunken lady.-She is in prison now because she attacked 3 security guards too-because we had to tell the police the story we missed half the show. Finally at the seats we coulden't see because the seats are to low and you can't see anything only if the band or P comes on the edge of the symbolstage. Afcourse i had to get back to the hotel because i coulden't speak/breathe.So even a friend we met there bought us aftershowtixs we couldn't go. So we sold them again.Than Friday..i was so nervous i really wanted to see the aftershow because i noticed the 1st show -what i've seen of it- wasn't that great.The 2nd was way better from the top of the O2.For the first time i saw the nice symbolstage.We went down before P ended the show to go in line for the aftershow.We had great fun there with english die hard fans.We told stories about the former shows and visitis to paisley park.Yes...we all are true devoted fans!After a long time we could get in the Indigo.We waited for 6 hours and than went back to the hotel because P didn't show.What is wrong with the world today..... | |

Sorry you had such a bad experience. I have been to many PRINCE shows and must admit this one was different in that there did seem to be a lot of people who had had too much to drink. Someone was escorted from the arena for punching another person in the face because they were singing along to Prince. I have bought VIP tickets and don't yet know where I am sitting. I can assure you that most Prince concerts are not like that and the true fans always go out of there way to be extra friendly. Hope it hasn't putting you off going to other concerts. My next one is on 17th August. | |

Over the three nights I've been to I noticed a lot of very drunk people, more than usual at a Prince concert. The only thing I can think of as to why is that beer and wine is sold in the venue, and whereas at the vast majority of other venues you're not allowed to take drink in to the arena, at the O2 you are. So you can basically carry on drinking all night, until you leave.
Did anyone notice the guy on Friday who tried to jump on top of the box carrying Prince as they were taking him out of the arena? Now he looked completely off his face! | |

TBH I think if you've queued for ages, stood around in Indigo2 for ages not knowing if Prince would show etc... the bar would start to look pretty tempting! What else is there to do but drink 
I'm driving so I'm on soft drinks... but I'm seriously tempted to bring a book or Nintendo DS to future aftershows, to deal with the boredom of all the queuing and standing around. I could pass the time reading during the extended Maceo jazzy interludes and elevator music! | |

There are always selfish jerks, loud drunken idiots and their loud drunken idiot girlfriends etc. Don't get me wrong - I'm Irish, I love drinking, and I love getting pissed - but I really don't see the point of getting wasted when you've paid for tickets to a performance. It's the same at comedy shows and stuff... some people just can't go out and enjoy themselves without alcohol. For me if I want to drink, I go drinking, and if I want to go to a show, I do that. I think I may have witnessed this, at the start of the concert right? It was pretty shocking, happened real fast too, 2 girls on the floor then security came over. Really sorry u experienced this, this aggression is so unnecessary, why anyone would want 2 go 2 a Prince concert & cause trouble is beyond me.  'Somewhere in Uptown' | |

Ive heard many stories of people going to concerts, getting pissed, falling asleep and missing the show! To me, thats just silly!!! | |
