previous aftershows were not sold in this way and didnt happen in this way

it would be a will he show type of thing - get into a club after a whispered rumour and wait and see if he tips up

this is very different - ticketmaster have said where he will be, when and charged a price for it!

i think prince has done very well - fair play to him - its ticketmaster who have been v slack

everything about this 21 nights in london shiz reeks of sickening commercialism, from the pumping people full of alcohol til they collapse
I guess I missed the people being forcicbly connected to the alcohol pumps. I managed to go to an aftershow without drinking a drop, nobody forced anything on anyone!
RIP sad

people should not be served if they're clearly very drunk or approaching being very drunk. not only is it irresponsible to do that, it's against the law

Today I sent my complaint to Ticketmaster. For those who like to do the same, dont hasitate to use some of my text:

I hereby inform you that I am demanding a full refund of the money that I spended on tickets for the Official Prince Aftershow. The sale of my tickets are in breach of Trade Description English law and therefor I am demanding a full refund within 28 days. I bought the tickets for this event in good faith from your website where it was advertised in the concert section as a Prince Aftershow. The night of the concert Prince did not attend to the show, instead he was replaced with a act called Dr John. I bought five tickets for this event for a total amount of 139,25 pounds. I'll expect a confirmation of the refund within 7 days. Right now I will be going on a holiday till the 27th of August. I will however check my mail. When the issue is not solved at my return I will be forced to file a small claims action against Ticketmaster. The additional costs will be added to the amount of the claim. I will and shall not hasitate to take this case to law when needed.

Ill trust this issue will be solved in the way subscribed.

Sincerely,

These are the facts.

Around 1.30am Prince was backstage at the Indigo. I seen him he was dressed in all black. He had the black bandana on his head. You could see him on the left hand side of the stage in the gap.

His guitar was on the stage and his pedals. They got taken off around 1.40am. Along with a bass guitar. I don't believe no one else noticed this. The guitar on the stage was Prince's first ever guitar that he uses all the time think Controvesy Video etc.

Tamara and the other black girl (the one that sang crazy) where sitting upstairs.

I left 1.50am and asked a bouncer if he had left and he said yes.

Guess
I think the concert on before Prince, did not get all thier stuff off the stage. Prince had a strop and they ended up playing instead.

I am going to contact Ticketmaster and demand a refund. If they refuse I am going to go to Watchdog.

A Prince aftershow should include something to do with Prince. Even if they done Prince covers would have been alright.

i noticed prince in the wings and then a few mintues later his guitar man taking allo his guitars and equipment away again.
i also saw the two girl singers on the balcony, but only for a few minutes.

would have been nice to see prince up close, but the crowd were too pissed up and aggressive- can't blame him on leaving really.
