Prince isn't your bitch - you get as much as you are willing to bring to the party!

DISCUSS!!!!!

i.e. you have 2 choices... 1) get all neurotic over seats, etc, and stand like a stiff with your arms folded and expect Prince to entertain you

2) Let your hair down and go for it!!!!!

Depends on your viewpoint.

I would re-label the second point as:

2. Get screwed over and bury your head in the sand!

I think that everybody is getting just a little obsessive about all this ticket lark. Just thank your lucky stars that you're not Barbara Streisand fans. At least for the price of 1 ticket to see her, you can get at least 3 to see Prince, and 3X the experience. What's the point of spending good money to see a concert, if you are going to make yourself so wound up over it that you then can't enjoy the show. All this obsessiveness over who paid what to sit where is actually stopping you from doing the very thing you bought the ticket for in the first place; HAVING A GOOD TIME! You might just as well have saved your money in the first place & stayed in & watched 'Grumpy old men'.

nobody owns anybody...however if u r a per4mer n u have been paid serious money and then could not be bothered 2 show up at an event being sold as a prince aftershow then we have a right 2 complain.
we all love the man and his music but if u charge 25 quid plus booking fee and then lay on an average blues band and not bother 2 attend then 1 has some soul searching 2 do here.
we all work hard 4 our £££ and its only fair that prince does his part and give us what the fans want.

25 multiplied by 2000 = a lot of £££....prince cant take that dosh and then let the fans screwed.

thats the way i see it anyway.
i reckon we should get a refund from last nights show as with the profits from the bar would have covered the indigo cost and the blues band.

Don't bury your head man. My god, £25 for an aftershow with a total door income of £50k with a miniscule amount on ents is a f***** joke. I run clubs and clubnights in Leeds. If you put on an aftershow up here for £25, and the artist didn't show up it would kick off. It really is a disgrace.
