Star Spotting at the London gigs

I am pretty sure that the P gigs will bring out some of Londons finest A (or should that be D?) list celebs. Who do you think might be seen at the gigs? My starters-for-ten... By the way, no need to list Big Brother Housemates - they'd show up to the opening of an envelope!

Mica Paris
Craig David
Madonna
Tara Palmer Tompkinson
Trevor Nelson
Sugababes
Gwen Stefani
Jo Whiley

Nice 1 MattUK. I was only thinking this last nite! There r bound 2 b quite a handfull of celebs as he is well respected in the industry.

But the main thing is (and this is the exciting part), they will not get special treatment as NPGMC get first choice etc. Maybe the likes of Madonna etc. will have to be seated away from public but i'v read reports from the states the tell of celebs trying 2 blag there way in ahead of NPGMC members and not getting away with it.

I do know that Johnathon Ross is going. He mentioned it on his radio show.

Yeah I would fully expect Beverley Knight to be there, as she was at the Cafe de Paris and Brixton shows in '98, she has also thanked Prince in the sleeve notes of her most recent CD.
Roachford appeared at the Brixton gig also...
I laughed when I read about Bill Oddie, I sat beside him at Wembley '98 and chatted to him about old music such as Sly Stone, Graham Central Station etc. He confided in me that Sign O' The Times was his favourite period.
British soul star Lynden David Hall is a big Prince fan, one of his first groups was called 'Sexual Suicide', he was at the Cafe de Paris and at a recent gig included 'Forever in my Life' into the set.
Looking at this objectively literally anybody could be there!

Don't forget though: 'Everybody is a star'...that's probably why Prince is letting you all sit up front, plus I guess the ride up front really is better when you've been in the back. Is that a fact?

I saw Teddy Sheringham at a wembley gig in 1998, and recieved some strange looks when me and a fellow spurs fan started chanting "teddy! teddy!" instead of the usual crap "oh ey oh" that was echoing around

I think its more likely that Prince will be at the Bowie gig tonight !

Charlene Spiteri (sp ?) is a big fan as well, probably will be there, however as she's even shorter than Prince we may not spot her smile

I do hope Brian May's going again, he lives next door to me and I could cadge a lift home ! biggrin

Mr. Blobby is apparently also a big fan.

It may be difficult to spot him though because he his appearance is one that will blend in with the rest of the audience.

I saw Boy George also but at Lovesexy 88. Prince introduced one song and said it was for George. Not sure why he hates him now!?
