My advice, seriously, I didnt see anyone getting their camera taken away but my advice would be we are all P fams we all know how he feels on this subject, why not just go, enjoy the gig and not have to worry about getting that perfect shot! If you want some pics of P then the gallery on this site has loads or why not just google some. Why do I keep hitting myself with a hammer? Because it feels so good when I stop.

Please don't take them to the Aftershow... he will walk!!!
Prince has made it quite clear that's the way he feels - hence only 1 song on Saturday (cameras) and hours of fun last night (real fans, no drunks and no cameras)

camera's are easy to get in
depending on where you're sat in relation to the "security" people, it should be easy to get a few half decent shots to help you remember the nite aftershow...sounds a different proposition altogether...a mate was at last nites, and said "security" were hot. obviously if you do take a camera don't mention it on here, as the "prince can do no wrong and we all have to do exactly what he says" brigade ( )will hang you...or call you a name...or threaten you with violence (even tho they don't know you)

If he doesn't like it why not just eject the guilty party?

I must admit I have a split opinion about camera usage,I have some great pics and footage from U2 in Vienna 2005, but on the other side of the coin, you end up missing loads and never really getting into it. I think i will leave my phone in my pocket for this one and let someone else do the work If it were not for insanity, I would be sane.

Brought mine with my, got it in and never took it out. I was not going to ruin this night by doing something foolish like taking a photo.... I agree with an earlier post, it does also distract u from the performance.

I took Binoculars! Got called a "geek" by my GF, but seeing as I wa sitting in the gods and seeing Prince is the chance of a lifetime(depending on your circurmsatnces etc) I didnt care and revelled in seeing him and the band (SShhh drumming was spot on) do their thing.
I have been going to gigs for years and it seems a shame that more so at the front, there is a permanent see of camera phones. Long gone are the days of a good mosh pit!(well for the older artists anyhow!)
