Has anyone managed to get TM to swap their tickets for better seats?

Has anyone managed to get TM to swap their tickets for better seats?

If so how? I just noticed that the TM website does not recommend level 4 tickets for people who have a fear of heights.

If they are going to start releasing floor tickets I reckon an exchange is not unreasonable.

Looks like we're gonna take the long way home 2night... nod

Yes, I managed to. But don't waste your time on email. Phone them.

From what I've heard, the high seats aren't so bad anyway in terms of providing a good view of the gig. You might find it easier to see in steeply tiered seating than on the floor with 200 people in front of you.

I did. I changed mine from upper tier right at the back to block 102. Had to try a few times though. Mention about the height thing, that's what I said. Definitely call them. Keep trying if you don't get a result the first time.

Just got off the line to TM.... after a bit of persuasion I managed to get my tickets changed from Upper Tier Bk410 to Lower Tier Bk110!! What a joke! It's taken me 5 phone calls to get them swapped!

Customer Service agent I spoke to on this occasion was quite dismissive and basically turned me down flat. I thanked her, asked for her name and then asked to speak to a manager. Manager I spoke to at first didn't seem to interested but I persisted with being super nice to him and explained that I bought the tickets before the height disclaimer was set up on their site. He advised me he would need to speak with the promoters and call me back.

Surprisingly, he called back dead on the time he said he would!! Advised me that it would be ok to exchange the tickets!!
Not sure if this helps anyone, but just shows that persistence can pay off smile

I just tried on the basis of the height thing (i'm on the upper tier) and they said no as it was too late to send out new tickets (i'm going on Saturday). I tried to get them to leave new tickets at the box office to exchange but they said no.

Has anyone managed to pull this off at this late stage ?

They can send out tickets by email - just bought some replacement tickets for Sat - had blk 115, but sold them at work and replaced them with blk C1 floor tickets!!!
