...did anyone else see how he got from his dressing area to the stage? It looked suspiciously like he was wheeled in via a large box, made to look like an amp or something. Given he came in the same way to absolute hysterics for the encore - minus the box - has convinced me.

On the Lovesexy tour he was wheeled into the understage area in a tour crate.

The one Musicology show I went to he walked up steps to the stage right infront of us from god knows where. Here he was elevated from underneath. But getting from the dressing room to underneath the stage appeared to be done from some giant box. The increased security around the box had me convinced. And when I say giant, it was less than 6 feet tall. But not the kind of thing you'd imagine a person wanting to get inside. Unless they were on a 1980's Noel Edmonds TV show with little regard for getting out alive.

Then again, there was probably a widescreen telly and a fluffer inside.

They wheeled that box right from the tunnel, right past us, under the stage. I saw Prince climb out, because the curtain wasn't closed; then he came up onto the stage on a platform.

he wa wheeld out in a large black box and then band followed aa few minutes later. the lights then went on - this was round 10:30 and the arena started to empty. I told my firends to wait a few minutes and sure enough, Prince ran back through the crowds and back on stae for a few acoustic numbers before the band rejoined him! finally left at 11pm in the black box again!
