Anyone sit in floor Block D2 last night? I've got floor tickets for Block D2 (seat 23 & 24) for Friday and am a bit concerned after having seen the pics of the stage and how high it is. Did anyone sit in D2 last night and was the view disappointing?
Also, I've heard that the sound wasn't so hot for the floor seats - anyone care to comment? Thanks Gazza

I sat in Block D1 last night and the view is fantastic even with the high stage so do not worry about that but the sound quality was awful. I couldn't make out 90% of what he was singing or saying and every guitar solo was lost and barely audible. The drums were so loud they drowned everything else out. It got better in the last 30 minutes of the gig so maybe they tweaked something but it almost ruined an otherwise amazing gig. Let's hope they sort it out for the next gig but maybe the floor seats are worse for sound than tier seats so prepare yourself for this...
Did anyone else have problems with the sound quality last night??

Did anyone else have problems with the sound quality last night?? I was in E1. Sound was terrible, exactly as you say I could not hear the guitar at all except for the funkier stuff on his hohner when the drummer let up a bit. The drums desperately need perspex panelling around like John B had to stop it overpowering close up seats. The overhead speakers are actually pointing behind you towards the tiers and not the floor so I'm sure there are lots of blind spots with sound as well for the floor seats.

I was in E1. The sound was rubbish for me too. I'm hoping for better sound on Friday night when I'm in front of (instead of underneath) the speakers. I was in row G and could clearly see the middle of the stage. If you're in the front row of the floor blocks, the stage probably is a bit high. But Prince comes around the stage and says hello to everyone.
