we did the cruise and had seats in A2 row h. Phenomenal - the cruise was swish as expected -lovely food and all to prince classics playing turned up!!

the seats are exactly as seen as on the tm plan. the stage is very intimate to the vips and the lower tiers are very close. our sound was a bit echoey but apparently it sounded fine in the tiers.

he played all my favourites and lolita in a wierd mix that fell a little flat in the second half as he worked the crowd i think it was apparent they didnt know the answers to" how bad is this girl as he thrust the mike at the audience - we of course were all shouting it out but that was the only 'lull' for me in the show - he played all his main hits that an uneducated public would know and a few they wouldnt. black sweat worked surprisingly well live!

the twinz were good but very young almost adolescent looking - however there rollar skatin bit waas cool! get on the boat went down really well - he had evryone jumpin!!

at the end all the manic 'must get to my car/train/tube first people' had gone and we were hanging around thinkin that cant be it - surely - when suddenly the crowd startin screomin and runnin toward one exit and P was on the floor in the corowd covered by his bodyguards and he ran to a floor entrance to the stage and emerged up through the centre with his guitar and no band - and sang unaccompayied aprt from hiself of course, raspberry beret christopher tracey - phenomenal - the crowd went NUTS all runnin and pushin to get close to the stage!!!

all health and safety outa window! people standin on seats crushin up to the stage fillin the ailes. the ushers were goin mad tryin to stop it all!!

they brought out the big guns who finally got people of their seats as the poor little 18? year old usher was gettin no-where!! the band started comin back on and went into a jam of niles berkely (is that how its spelt???) crazy and freak out and the crowd went nuts!! when it finally finished the sound men were on that stage sooooo quick unpluggin the equipment - i guess they had orders to not let him do it again.

it was like a special jam for the fans after all the 'interested to see him' concert goers had gone!! shame they missed it - the arena was about half empty when he did it!!
itw as like bein young again before the nanny state took over - the way concerts used to be - havin fun and hell to the consquences (fallin off yer sea, spillin beert!!lol) the vip area did not look very vip when the lights went up, paper, beer wine all over the floors as every one danced so hard they just forgot their drinks!

PHENOMENAL!!!!!

my friend who went for his wife couldnt believe it - before the show he said he wasnt into prince really but after i asked him if he was now converted and he said ' definately' 'what showmanship, guitar playin etc' he was truly shocked at how brilliant the band is and their obvious love to play - the final jam showed that - i cant wait for the aftershow on fri!!!
