Ticketmaster selling floor seats for tonight (31, 21 GBP)

They are celling block C on the floor for tonights concert as from about 11.00 GMT today, the day of the concert, great seats for regular prices: 31,21 GBP.

If you are dissatisfied with your tickets, don't forget to send a complaint to BBC's television programme 'Watchdog'. See also this thread for more information and Ticketmaster machinegun scam theories: http://prince.org/msg/12/236224

I've thought about doing that so hard so many times over the last few weeks, but I really, really can't. I think my blood might be weeping in my veins!!

How do you get floor seat tickets? Do you need a fanclub code? I'm just getting block 102 at the moment, which is in the lower tier (not the floor).

If you do a search on 1 ticket, they'll offer you block 102. Do a search on 2 tickets and they are currently offering block F2 on the floor.

this was completely expected...

AEG gave good seats to brokers so that they could sell them for big prices, now the brokers noticed that they didn't sell all good seats so they gave unsold ticks back to AEG, who gave them to TM.

anyone already called TM for an explanation?

Just select 1 ticket and 'floor' as section.

This ALWAYS happens with Ticketmaster. The best seats that were previously held by the promoter for whatever reasons suddenly becomes available so they can TRY to unload them.

stereoboy

This is because of the stage. Once they have the exact dimensions of the stage (normally once it's actually in place) they see if they can fit some more in. They are called production seats and also act as a tout/scalper deterrent. With a stage shape as fancy as P's - this was always going to happen.

They'll put them onsale the morning of each show...so expect loads more to be available. But having seen the show - front few rows of lower tier are best.

After attending tonights gig, I wouldn't be too bothered about getting floor seats. The lower tier are great. I was in block 110 row R & had a fabulous view. The stage looked quite high for a decent view from the floor.
He did spend most of his time at the pointy end of the stage, so I'd avoid seats across the back end of the arena.

I agree. Lower tier view was good. I was in block 110, row C and was pretty happy with that rather than the floor. I think i might have struggled with my height if I was down there.
