Not nesecarily his most famous "hit" but nevertheless his only UK number one and it hasn't featured yet at any of the concerts?

I am certainly not saying it should, but you would have thought this might have made an appearance in a UK (London) only tour.
Happy is he who finds out the causes for things.Virgil (70-19 BC). Virgil was such a lying bastard!

I have a version of this where he performs this live but has the crowd singing the chorus and him playing the verse on the guitar .... amazing he should do something like that for the O2 tour. Im going there on 20th Sept! Cant Wait!

Well, quite, lol but he could have squeezed a bar into the piano solo the other night for the thousands of people who probably bought it.

Its a great song, and it would bring the house down as an encore!

It might not be his greatest song but my heart melts whenever the spoken part starts.

I never understood why this was as succesful as it was. That said, given he's there to please hardcore and ordinary music punter alike, he should probably give it a spin.

Am I right in thinking 'Shhh' is the only Gold Experience number he's performed so far? It would be a good idea to play 'Gold' as well, perhaps the best finale song of his career save Purple Rain (with Last December grabbing bronze). In fact, isn't Gold the last decent selling single of his in the UK? Didn't it scrape into the Top 10 over Christmas when you have to be a novelty song (or at the very least a novelty artist) to sell more than 2 copies?

It's not a song I listen too much either, but I would have liked to at least hear 1 verse from it during the piano solo.

I've never heard a live version of it, and I think that's what I need to make me like the song again.
