Concert over. LRC played in a nearly empty arena on the guitar on his own.

Near empty arena? Everyone had left early or was that the whole time?

However, when Prince came out for an encore, waited too long.....Folks thought that the concert was over...Hence him playing "LRC" (one of the last songs in the encore) to an almost filled house...

after let's go crazy the arena started to empty, after 5 mins he came back on and did little red chorvett + raspberry beret + sometimes it snow on accoustic guitar. then band joined for play that funky music and they finised with a love bizarre.

overall it was a great show. hi lites were all from PE - title track was super, guitar was wonderful and somewhere here on earth was awesome and prince loved performing them. however during some tracks such as girls and boys and kiss i got the felling he was just going through the mill to keep the masses happy.

another point - he did a poor job of working the symbol stage, mostly styayed at centtre and looks out towards block 106 area, on three occasions he went round the back so not good for people there. when shelby sang crazy she worked it much better.

all said it was a grat night

not crazy about the set list though hopefully he will mix it up a bit over the month...and WOW, i'd love to hear "planet earth" live. for those of you who were there: how was it?

interesting first night...i'll be interested in hearing how any possible aftershow action goes...

Did they perform a full body search?

Can't balieve I missed Little Red Corvette!!! I thought I hung around for at least 5 minutes after the house lights came up. Nightmare.

I thought the set was great. Starting with Purple Rain was awesome. I got a wee bit emotional when he started to play that (First time seeing him Live!).

Great show, great night.....really annoyed I missed the second encore. Hope he does the same on 7th cos I'm coming back!!

I am absolutely fuming about the last encore... the house lights were fully up and they were ushering people out of the arena!!! Grrrrr.

Funky London Chant - was actually Musicology. LOL.

Security was non-existant really - they just mentioned 'oh, like, don't film it or take pics, OK?' as you go in and then there were a few half-hearted flashes with a torch at some of the people in the lower tier...but no-one was ejected from the building like the warning signs told you you would.

No support act either - what happened to Nikka?!
