I paid the VIP price, due to work and family commitments I can only get to 1 concert, when I went on the internet at 09:00 on 11/05/07 I intended to pay £31.21, but found my searches returned no availability for over an hour, the only thing that returned availability was VIP, so I had to swallow the bitter pill and pay it for the date I can attend, I've seen several dates on every European prince tour since 1986, including opening nights in Bercy Paris 88, Holland 90 and going to Minneapolis in 1991, I won't even be getting the buffet as I am just going to the concert in the evening!

Prince and Ticketmaster/AEG have really extracted every last £ out of Prince fans here as a cash cow, even selling 2,500 seat for after shows where you don't know what your getting on purpose, but they know fans are silly enough to take the chance (me included), I think it stinks the way fans have been handled, but that was business for Prince and TM,

What I think is out of order is fellow fans coming on here taking the p*ss and gloating over the mess that is VIP tickets.

Agree entirely, certain individuals have got better deals for whatever reason but that shouldn't mean fellow fans rub it in each other's faces ...

i think some folx can see the funny side 2 all this as they were saved not having 2 buy VIP and still managed 2 get great seats that the VIP folx will get.
if they got screwed like we did they would know how it hurts our pockets as well as our pride 4 being stupid in the first place.

Oh well, its a lesson learnt as far as i'm concerned, I won't be buying VIP tickets in the future so quickly, I thought it sounded abit unbelievable that he'd sold out so many nights at the O2 so quickly, not like he's been shipping millions of CD's over the last decade, to be honest, I admire Ticketmaster/AEG and Prince for managing to sell tickets as they have, clever bit of marketing behind all this !

Just makes me laugh the way Prince whinged for years about being exploited in his warner brothers contract, then he sanctions similar behaviour on his fans, I think everyone who bought VIP tickets should write 'slave' on their cheeks for the bar drink/food and concert like Prince did in ther early 90's, that'd spook him good style when he looks from stage and see's us all ! biggrin

when u think about this....trading standards would have a field day with this as it was FALSE ADVERTISING and we were CONNED out of our money as this was the only way they could flog the VIP tix....pretending that the gigs had nearly sold out!!!!!
anyone who is now foolish enough 2 purchase VIP would want 2 have there head Xamined....but im sure there r crazy ppl with money 2 throw away....
