Some of you might just get your wish!!! I always wanted to hear "7" "Girls and Boys" and " I wanna be your lover" and on 7-7-7, my wish came true!! I know it is selfish to pray for these things, but sometimes, God even answers selfish prayers! I feel so blessed!
Wake up!......Wake up!

Over the course of the three nights at Hammersmith in 2002 for the ONA tour and also the aftershow at The Marquee he pretty much did all of the songs mentioned in this thread except mayeb Gold (and those not yet recorded).

While I am enjoying the O2 concerts big time and it is great seeing "our boy" back in a sold out arena, there was something very special about ONA (possibly/probably the exclusivity we felt by having our NPGMC tickets and seeing the soundchecks etc) razz
'I loved him then, I love him now and will love him eternally. He's with our son now.' Mayte 21st April 2016 = the saddest quote I have ever read! RIP Prince and thanks for everything.

Wasn't there a rumour, not so long ago that Prince wasn't going to perform tracks like IIWYG and Darlin' Nikki, and some og the other 'racier' songs because of his religion?

He's obviously got over it...

Or maybe not... I don't recall him actually swearing on stage in the 2 gigs I've seen. He changed the lyrics in Joy in Repetition to '4 letter words will not be heard. On this stage tonight'. And let some swearwords hang in the air unsaid (like the hell in Guitar and the shit in Lolita).

The ablum version of Guitar doesn't have hell in it and he doesn't actually say shit in Lolita anyway. He hasn't sworn for a number of years now.
RIP sad

biggrin It was a great venue and very intimate although now superb to see another arena tour (or residency!) cool It seems the vibe at the indigo2 seems to have recreated some of the hammersmith flava smile

My first show was also Lovesexy, and since then have seen all subsequent shows. A lot of previous wishlists have since been satisfied notably The Beautiful ones, Sometimes it snows in april and Bambi-all becoming quite frequent over the Years!

My ideal wish/set list now would have to be.... I'm yours, Sexuality, Uptown, 17 Days, Another lonely Christmas, The full version(un released) of Computer Blue, G Spot, Temptation, Girl, It!, La, la, la, He, he, hee!, Lovesexy (heard it but love it, and not since '88!) ELECTRIC CHAIR! Scandalous, Tick, tick bang! We can funk (unreleased Prince version), Willing and able, Interactive, Loose, The continental, 3 chains of gold, Damn U, La, la, la means I love you!
Chaos and disorder, I like it there, until ur in my arms again, Good Love, Welcome 2 the dawn, I like funky music, Pretty man. High! The Dance.

Just a few then!?!
Life's a Parade! LoveLife, LoveSexy!
