Aftershows

Ok - I imagined these aftershows would be 'up close and personal' intimate concerts and that they'd sell out like in seconds ... apparently there are still aftershow tickets available, but they are also opening up 'UPSTAIRS' shortly which would mean that it doesn't end up to 'intimate' after all ...

woops ... Indigo is STRICTLY 18&over !!! I don't have a problem with that but I guess ppl going with younger ppl to the main show will need to split for the aftershow eek

I've passed on a great many aftershows this times for several reasons:

1. Cost!
2. Lack of sleep!
3. Its too clinical now. Pre booking "Offical" aftershows takes the fun out of it.
4. No longer can you be sure there will be a performance.
5. I'm not interested in spending £50 on two tickets for P to pop in for 10 minutes.
6. The venues are hardly intimate anymore. This is a full blown threatre.
7. I think its a big 02 money spinning activity that will leave people dissapointed.
8. A half baked jazz set sounds cool but I think it will simply be a boring Maceo fest. There will be a half dozen proper shows at best.
9. 2000 people is as big as the stalls area at the Hammersmith Apollo.
10. I'm getting lazy!

I'm coming all the way from Belgium and spend about euro 500 on the whole thang.
He'd better show up or I drag his sorry a$$ on the stage myself. The official spin also takes the fun out of it for me. Where is the time that he'd show up in a club that was just open for regulars and jam in2 the night...
