I am thinking of spending my weekend in Oberhausen. Or in Köln because I am sure that is a nice city. How is Oberhausen? Is there a good connection between Köln and Oberhausen? Also in the night?

Anybody know a nice (not to expensive!) hotel in Köln or Oberhausen?

There's a 3-Star hotel ("Tryp CentrO") at the "Centro" which is quite near to the Arena. A single room costs around 80 Euro. Please check www.oberhausen.de and then click on "Tourismus"...

Just a question. Is Oberhausen far from Dusseldorf? German geography is not my strongest subject...

And I guess a lot of Dutch folks will be there as well !!!

I mean, is it possible to travel from Oberhausen to Köln after the (after!)show? (NO taxi's)
I'm from Holland spending my weekend in Köln.

I´m from cologne. we are 4 persons going to oberhausen. hope it will be nice. never visited the arena.
we are also going to frankfurt and rotterdam second.

düsseldorf is not so far from oberhausen.
germany isn´t that big

There is some kind of transport up to 00:19. mostly you have to change at DUisburg central station which is the next stop from oberhausen. the next trains would be 3:23 and 4:40 on nights from sundays to mondays...
