My tickets arrived today, and I was surprised to see that the tickets (including Prince's picture and the word 'Prince') were visible through the envelope window.
Not only that, I was surprised that I was not required to sign for them, they were simply put through the letterbox.

I wondered if this was true in everyones case - every other time I've purchased concert tickets online (and that's many, many times) they have never been visible, in fact that has been no indication that there were tickets inside. I have always had to sign for them, and they are most often delivered by a courier, not just along with the regular post.

If it was a Prince loving postman delivering, I could very easily have said good bye to my seats!

I didn't see any other mention of this on here... Comments anyone?

It's been years since I've had to sign for tickets on delivery. It's a bit shit really considering the price they charge to send them... even BO collection charges a few quid for that, and that more than makes up for covering a recorded delivery charge.

Never had my tickets stolen by the postman though.

I've got 2 out of 3 sets of tickets in for Prince so far and I was surprised that there seems to be a different picture on both sets. One was from TM and the other lot from Seetickets.

Yeh, I had the same thing. No knock or anything. A driver came and delivered it but he just put in the letterbox. What if I was living in some communal flats and someone just took? Glad I got it all the same but you never know the next time.

These days you only normally have to sign for tickets if they are standing/general admission and where it would be more difficult or impossible to trace the tickets/purchaser.

If anyone were to have any problems with the O2 arena tickets then all they'd really need for a replacement or entry would be the order number/details and card/purchaser details - and as only the real purchaser would have this information there shouldn't be an issue. If someone else was sitting in your seat using the cancelled ticket they'd get thrown out.

....having said that i've no idea why the IndigO2 tickets were not sent out Special Delivery or something else requiring a signature.
