Can someone shed some light on the venue map?!

I'm really confused here...ticketmaster and ticketline both display different venue maps. On the ticketmaster site P's symbol is reversed but does that mean that all the block numbers are also going to be reversed as they are displayed inn ticketline?? This really sucks as I got tickets for opening night in block 110 which I believe is pretty decent on the ticketmaster's map (if the stage is placed properly) but on the Ticketline's map block 110 is at the back of the stage mad
Anyone has a concrete answer?

Let me explain:In Ticketmaster the arrow faces blocks 106-107 and the symbol is reversed. If they put it properly and the stage still faces blocks 106-107 then fine ,however, if the arrow faces blocks 115-116 as displayed in ticketline then I'm pissed....

Why would the stage be facing blocks 115-116? that would mean he would be facing away from most of the seats (including upper tier). I think if you are in block 110 (which I am too) you are in a good position

I think that the the arrow will point towards 106/107 for two resons:

1. Ticketmaster are the main ticket supplier so I tend to believe their maps are more accurate than Ticketlines.

2. At the Superbowl he spent alot of time facing forward looking towards the front of the arrow from infront of the circle (if that makes sence). If he performs mainly like that he wouldn't be facing as many people because the 115/116 end has no upper tier.

I hope this is the case anyway, but until opening night we won't know. Not long to go now!

I see what your saying now

I think he'll probably be ALL over that stage so either way I think youll be fine

But I would have thought the symbol (if it is a symbol) would face the way as in ticketmaster

So depending on who you want to believe if you're in block E2 you'll either have a great view of prince, or you might have a great view of cora's arse.

The Ticketmaster diagram does look a bit iffy though, the symbol is reversed. I'll email AEG and see if I can get an answer...

I was of the understanding that he was performing "in the round" in a Lovesexy '88 stlyee - in which case he'll be all over the place and so everyone should pretty much get an equal view. I had a great time in '88 and if it's smilar, as i'm sure it will be, then i'll have a great time in '07 too.

So - in short - don't lose too much sleep over which way the symbol faces!!

Yes, but if you've got front row on the floor and you're behind the 'O' of the symbol then you may have a restricted view as that's (I assume) where the band will be.

I, like everyone else, haven't seen the O2 tour (yet) so i don't know for sure - but for Lovesexy the band were all around the centre stage and Prince and Cat moved about. So i'm guessing that this may be similar in that the band will be in the centre facing out towards the audience and Prince will again move about. Otherwise it kinda makes having a centre stage a bit pointless and he might as well have had the stage down one end.
