Prince was awesome. He said 'All you rich people come up to the stage', and he actually brought a bunch of people up on the stage with him, a let one dude sing Play that funky music white boy while Prince just whailed on the guitar.

I actually was waiting for an orger to post a full-fledged concert report ...

ints interesting that nobody from the org attended. i'm sure if someone did there would be a report already. again, prince is outpricing his loyal "fams."

Eye struggled extremely hard over not attending this show for the 6k. Eye was ravished with guilt for regretfully not attending the 777 shows due to scheduling conflicts. Just could not justify this kind of money when '02 Xenophobia trip, hotel airfare and all was far less. What drove me crazy was that P would be performing basically in my own backyard here on L.I. At his last performance on the Island 7/20 my wife and Eye were on stage dancing with him and he even high fived me. This time Eye had to wave off this expense due to my wife's common $en$e.

Eye did however drive by the Ross School on Sat. Nite. Obviously you could not access the front gate entrance as they were checking tix and shuttle buses were herding the rest in. Eye drove a little further West on Rte. 114 and found an adjacent heavily wooded side street. The sign said Private Road however we continued. 3/4 of the way down Eye found a spot where U could hear the music as if it was your neighbor's house party two doors down. At 8:47 PM, Eye heard the opening "Hot Jazz Set" and it sounded awesome and well... HOT! After 3 mins of Brass and Bass Bliss the PD pulled up and Eye had to split.

Went for dinner in East Hampton and then headed back by that street again. It was 11:15 and Eye believe the show had just ended (not 12 mid as Eye read in another report somewhere). No PD or anyone else there as I heard what sounded like the end of the show. Then eye heard the DJ spinning the Jackson's "I want you back". Funny to hear MJ when your expecting P's voice.

Did not know he was heading over to the Club/Bistro "Flirt" unfortunately. It would have been nice if we all got a text message on our cell from 3121 (wishful thinking, but good idea 4 a last minute heads-up when he want's to). I am sure P needed some rest B4 that long flight to Switzerland that was to follow.

O'h well, sorry eye don't have more to report but eye thought eye would share this with U fellow orgers. Next time I'll go if One day eye live in a big White Mansion... Yeah maybe someday.
