My best guess is the aftershow is just a party, did y'all notice 3121.com is loud about anything but the aftershows ???

Extra tickets are often released when they realise that they can fit more seats in the arena than planned. These are often called production seats and to be honest its hardly Ticketmasters fault.

Now tickemaster even warns people who are afraid of heights NOT to book in level 4!
It's all very strange.
Next time - if there will ever be a next time - I'll wait before rushing to buy a ticket.

My cousin went to the Justin Timberlake concert a week last Sat. The stage was central and they were in the rafter seats. According to him, the gradient of the seat positioning was very steep indeed nod I'm not sure how different the seating plan will be for The Earth Tour (it'll surely differ to some degree).

Really!? Wow. Cool cool That's pretty lucky considering their ticket selling policy towards the real fan. Well done yourself for persisting your case. I guess you may have set a precedence now.

Indeed. It's only right they make some sort of amends for their own mistake. The sneaky gits haven't exactly lettered the message in warning lights either. On the flip-side, again, it frustratingly highlights this whole ticket allocation fiasco on behalf of Ticketmaster.

Chase these guys up, Sammi. Don't let up. thumbs up!

I'm on the phone with them right now ... and they're gonna do it !!!! I'm sooo happy, life is for the blunt I guess ...

What you should do is just call them and point them at the height issue .

Good luck to all y'all.

Cheers and see some of you September 16th ... Let's paint the town purple !!!

sooo funny ... just a few hours after this post I get an e-mail pointing at production seats availability ... I click on the link and I get an ad for the Barbara Streisand concert =D Must be something like "people who bought prince tickets also bought ..." like on Amazon.

Contacted Ticketmaster by email on 17/07/07 and complained about the height issues and they
replied today moving me(x4) from 411D to 112Y, not sure if they're better seats but they are closer.

they know they're going to be getting more seats to sell and don't make this clear in their policy, and you can't believe for one minute all they get allocated on the day of release are upper tier first?like they say themselves they are in the business of selling tickets...that's it.don't care who else is to blame...they are our point of contact and we are ticketmaster customers not 02 or aeg customers.
