AFTER SHOW PARTIES

Hello to one and all.

I'm wondering if anyone would mind helping me get to an aftershow gig following on from the nights of the 17/18 August London shows. I've got no idea how to find out about them, and am wondering if I could communicate by mobile with a few of you guys that know how to find out where they're at after the show as I'd love to go and see him. Any help would be most appreciated smile

Hi,
It looks like they're going to be in the Indigo2 venue, part of the O2 Arena complex.
If so, tickets will probably be sold through Ticketmaster beforehand.

I don't know about you guys, but I feel a little sad about the organised, commercialized aftershows. Where are the days when fams would go out and about, talking to roadies, band members and other insiders to find out where the show would be, racing there and hoping you would get in. It would all be at no cost (or only the cost for club entry) and Prince would go all out, as where now it becomes a little too sterile sad Anyway ... I got a freaking meeting today at 10 am GMT+1 so I'm freaking out...

I take your point but not many of us are kids any more and I certainly wouldn't be prepared to hop about in taxis and wait outside venues for hours any longer on an off chance.

Ultimately we're getting the chance to see him perform at a small venue with hopefully a good proportion of hardcore fans and for me that's what counts the most.

Agree completely - hopefully that's why it's not selling too fast - it maybe hasn't occured to many going to the main shows that he's even play. Plus, it was only announced yesterday, and wasn't splashed all over the press in advance of tx going on sale.

I only knew from reading here, and an email from See last night. But most people probably aren't signed up for alerts from see / TM.
