From the Governor, Mayor, Macy's, Target Center, First Ave, Press, Police and Hometown Fams. Alot of time, effort, work and pride went into it. Concessions were made. The fact is everyone involved knew that the club needed to close at 3, but the police allowed it to stay open till almost 4. I ADORE Prince, but this ones on his spontaneous spirit. All he would've had to do is say to Wendy when he was playing w/ her in LA "Hey ya wanna jam w/ me for the MPLS shows?" and arrangements could have been made. Bless Wendy's heart for dropping everything to make it and I do thank Prince for realizing how special it would be for us all to see them play together especially at First Ave. Prince playing Controversy there was amazing, but ya know we all would've had spontaneous OOOOO's if the would've played something from Purple Rain there. In the end the complaining should be over.....he gave us a day we'll never 4get.

Please! People have every right to complain if they weren't happy. I have no real complaints as I enjoyed my time that day, but logistically speaking it was a nightmare. That's bound to make people unhappy.

I guess I have a different opionion of "princes free spirit" today.

In contrast for him though, the MNPLS Target crowd acted like a bunch of zombies compared to the Chicago crowds I have been in with prince.

Maybe thats because they were made to wait ouside in the heat for 1.5 hours...

I dunno , just a guess...

But I certainly would not make it all seem like it was peaches and roses cuz it wasnt!!!

Just so everyone knows for the next summertime PRINCE concert....

Minneapolis has air conditioned skyways!!

Oh and I forgot to say....

If he happens to have a winter time concert, Minneapolis has heated skyways. There is even a skyway in the Target Center!

That wasn't the point of my post. I had read a lot of comments blaming MPLS,the Police, etc for how the day went and why the First Ave show got stopped. (Thanks to others who reported the facts) I didn't say Prince's free spirit I said spontaneous spirit and went on to say how he could've helped make things smoother. In the end I was just giving him the props he deserves for the 3 concerts in 12 hours and the wonderful performances.
