Hi I was just wonderin' if the people who booked tickets for the london shows have already received their tickets ?
I am waiting impatiently for mine. (13 september show)

If you got them from Ticketmaster you can track when they were posted in MY TICKETMASTER.

They saids they wont be posted until 2 weeks before and,sure enough, my still say not dispatched yet

Ditto not recived yet for 3rd Aug. My ticketmaster also says not yet dispatched.

Tickets will be going out after the second batch of seats go up for grabs on Sunday.

Nope, and im going to the 1st Aug

I can't believe that you have to pay for the tickets month before you receive them?! When ticketmaster got the money they should have send the tickets.

Not everyone is living in London and can wait until the last day to get the tickets. There are many fans from around the globe flying to England in a few days.

13 days left to the show (Aug 1) and the tickets have not yet been dispatched??! And it's an international order!!

I called them at +44 161 385 3613 and a lady told me to collect my tickets at the box office at the O2 arena on the venue date at 5pm. She added, they wouldn't mail the tickets as there's no time left.

She was very friendly and polite, by the way.

I dont think they will bother, I think its going to be all box office collection only. Now if only they refund our postage cost...

And besides that the numbers of tickets that have been sold in places like ebay! I had to buy and sell some tickets on ebay simply due to the way ticketmaster released tickets and generally withheld information over the course of 2 months. There must be 100s if not 1000s of tickets to be shuffled around and I think box office pickup would cause a riot!

Just to try and help calm things a bit here....

I have been to the O2 once already (to see Snow Patrol) and i'm off again next Friday to see (my girlfriend got the tickets!) Scissor Sisters - and we have received the SS tickets today, and the Snow Patrol tickets arrived 4 days beforehand.

Maybe it's a combination of being a new venue and also another way to hinder the touts - tickets are hardly ever sent out until close to the event date anymore.... but if you're in the UK you will receive the tickets in time, im sure.

To be fair i'm less sure about those living outside the UK and who paid for delivery.

All tickets picking up at the venue.....that will be a long queue and i wonder who will take responsability if anything happens...

As I am living outside the UK I called seetickets so I can collect my tix at the box office.

As for Ticketmaster, I had no choice but to collect them. Guess we'll have to be there sooner than expected to collect the tix!

It's all done now!!!! I aksed them if they have any details concerning the VIP treatment and seats allocation but they couldn't tell me anything new!

I've just read info re tickets on the ticketmaster site and I have no idea where the OP got the idea that it was collection only Tickets will be despatched 7-10 days before event,and to contact them if you havent recieved them up to 3 days before(normally 4 days before,but they are allowing for the postal strike).

has any one whose going to the 3rd Aug show got thier tickets yet?

I just received my tickets for: -

Aug 1st: standard tickets which I had to sell on.
Aug 11th : aftershow
Sept 16th : aftershow.


Notable absense still is the august 1st boat VIP. Not even a proper seat allocation or tickets being prepared. Looks like they're leaving that very late - wonder why?

This time the aftershows are much more planned than "in the old days" when it was a case of whispers and ear to the ground to find if/when/where etc, and tickets were never sold in advance.

Now, you can buy aftershow tickets at ticketmaster for most nights. the venue is the indigo2 bar which is within the same o2 complex, so no travelling needed but bear in mind that there are no guarantees to what Prince will do at the aftershows if anything at all. It could be just a party with a Prince focussed DJ, or Prince's band with no Prince, or his support act, with Prince maybe joining every now and then for the odd solo, or Prince may take the stage for 3 hours! The description is vague.
