Anybody know how many people are in line at First Ave? I did not buy tix to the Target Center Show, but was banking on the fact Prince would play Paisley. Now he's playing First Ave.
Anybody know how many people are in line at First Ave as of 11:20 AM? We need someone to Flicker the event... "So strange that no one stayed at the end of the Parade..." - Wendy & Lisa's "Song About" on their 1987 self-titled album.

I am in line right now and there are approximately 400 people ahead of me and I got here at 955am. it is 1130 now and the line has grown, but there will be plenty of tickets. they have 1500 tickets, so I think everyone that arrives prior to 3pm will get a ticket since there are probably only 600 people in line right now at the most. the issue is that those of us in line may miss the macy's show that starts at 4pm. It all depends on how many people they have working the ticket counter. I would rather miss the macy's show that is supposed to be 7 songs than miss his historic return to first ave. by the way, macy's gave out red numbered wrist bands this morning at about 9 am so people with tickets to the macy's show can have a spot in line for that show if they go to wait for tickets to first ave. the problem is that you have to be at macy's at 3pm to save your spot in line which is retarded because the tickets go on sale at 3pm. he needs a new manager. it will work out ... I hope.

as of right now the line wraps around the whole block, one time and then veers off past The Hard Rock Cafe.

I just drove by about a half an hour ago, and it looked like the line went around the block twice. And that was with it moving for 45 minutes. =( Gotta love the Purple One......

First Ave staffers estimated 2500 people in line today. Only 1300 got tix. Plus it was 95 degrees or somethin crazy like that...
