Sat- hammersmith - How early to queue: Poll?

Hey

I'm going to the gig on saturday, but i've no idea how early to start queuing. 11am, 2pm, what? I know some people are gonna be there bloody early, but it's not entirely practical for me, so roughly what time will people start queuing?

What are the point in these threads, why can't people just turn up when the feel like it, what's the obsession with being as close to Prince as possible, maybe you can't lick his ass as well from 15 rows back.

That wasn't the issue. I for one don't actually want to sit in the front row. I just don't want to turn up and find 500 people in front of me..

Does anyone know how many pre-sale tickets were actually sold for the Apollo?

I'm hoping that people start lining up about an hour before the soundcheck at 5pm.

Besides if you are to close to the front your view will be obstructed, particularly by the lighting.

I'm already in the line with my laptop and bluetooth phone - there's about 200 people already in front of me. I don't understand why they're all wearing bowie t shirts though??

I'll be in the pub across the road with the rest of the Orgers until Prince comes over and personally asks me to check out his gig.

Seriously though, what's the rush? Aren't we all getting a bit too old for the queuing up for hours and screaming and tearing our hair out? Leave that to the Britney Spears generation... let's all just be cool and turn up on time and enjoy the music without embarrassing ourselves eh? biggrin
