Indeed those are vip tickets
As i understand it by the venue map on ticketmaster The g_# (for an exampl GA3) stands for "ground seats-section" Anyone can confirm this ? Thanks [Edited 7/28/07 5:03am]

Thanks I had GA1 tickets for the 4th and when the tickets came through they were 3rd row at the front of the symbol I reckon GA3 are probably a row or two behind at worst

the GA on these VIP tickets are not related to any particular block row or seat. You'll only know where you are actually sitting when you receive the tickets and that could be anywhere on the floor or first 10 rows of the side-on lower tiers. Good luck, and whatever you get, ENJOY THE SHOW!

Hi machinegun Tell me, Are you sure? Cause by the map on ticketmaster they do have these yellow areas which seems to be on the floor, I just never been to the O2 so i cant realy say. Thanks anyway and enjoy too.

Hi!
I was wondering about seating too, but I've been told that I haven't been allocated any yet. {From thread:Seating Plan - any ideas?? Hi. Looking at my TM booking, it describes my booking as G A 9, Type: A-type, seats 27 & 28. This has baffled me, as I can't see where on the seating plan GA9 is. Can anyone shed any light? REPLY POSTED TO ME: It means your seats haven't been allocated yet. You will find out where you are sitting when they arrive in the post.}

Thanks anyway and enjoy too. Yes, I'm sure. I had GA0 Seat 40something, and got Row C Block E1. GA is for general allocation. Everyone with a VIP ticket has some sort of GAx allocation and just a seat number but no indication of row as they have not yet been allocated and in fact I think it's AEG (the promoters) that are doing the allocation as it looks like my VIP tix came directly from them [though this I'm not 100% sure on]. Others on the same night as me who had GA0 are in other blocks. What I think it does indicate though is in the order in which people booked. GA0 being the first batch, GA1, GA2 and so forth. The description for VIP is a guaranteed seat either in a floor block or first 10 rows of middle lower tiers. Basically the Gold Circle as visible on the ticketmaster seating plan. It's been discussed to death here already.

rofl....definately *not* first 10 rows.... that's ridiculous! worth a complaint I'd say and exactly the kind of thing I've been ranting about on this thread here: - http://prince.org/msg/12/236224 All those floor seats available via ticket brokers and you don't even get 1st 10 rows of lower tiers with VIP. Outrageous.

On tickets, GA usually stands for General Admission and is usually used for unreserved seating or standing. I'm guessing it's being used here to mean the seating hasn't been allocated yet. So there is no GA area on the floor plan.

thats correct - vip tix say GA for general admission, but ALL vip tix will be allocated seating, the seats aren't allocated until close to the date ALL vip tix should be within first 10 rows however, and if you purchased vip tix at the beginning when they were listed as "the very best seats within the first 10 rows of the floor area" (it said that or something to the same effect) and you received tier tickets that you aren't happy with, you are within your statutory rights under the sale of goods act 1994 to obtain a full refund in saying that, SOME of the vip tier seats are perhaps some of the best seats, it's just that you are further from the stage, but have a slightly better raised view
