Have we all learnt from the Ticketmaster fiasco I was able to (as many others have) buy tickets that were better than the 3 sets of tickets i got on the presale and the 1st day of the general sale, the first of which are for the Fri 3rd Aug show where i have the pleasue of being at the back of the round!
Yesterday I was able to get tix for Sat 11 Aug BK 103, row F, seats 100-101 - now thats as good as youd expect for £31.21 a ticket! and seems close in for a lower tier seat As of this week i have had the displeasure of being able to get onto TM and get hold of tickets for pretty much every day in good positions - i feel that we at the org should be wary of this, as a colleague of mine said on the day of the presale "its all a farce - just wait untill everyone feels theyve got there tickets and then watch more become avialable" whilst I have been able to get 3 sets of tickets all lower tier i feel for the peeps getting upper tier tix and now being gutted as there wont be much of a market for selling these upper tier tickets off. Whilst I think this is a kick in the teeth to the touts, i feel its as bad for the fans. I think we should all take note of this and ensure that: We all wait next time around and only take up tickets if they really are good - ie lower tier and close in - this way TM will realsie that a lot of ppl know what theyre up to with the misleading advise - sold out - my arse!. Do not buy up anything from the online touts - these so called official sites that sell "sold out" tickets are still selling upper teir tickets at silly prices - by waiting, these companys will screw up and make losses | |
