I'm back from the most amazing trip everrrrr. I cannot give you a review like J7, he hit the nail on the head. I was so caught up in the moment that I don't even remember all songs played. I was out of my mind pretty much the whole time. I managed to dance my way to the front of the stage and then making my way into the second booth RIGHT BEHIND SHEILA!!!! I told her she made my night, she was the only guest star I wanted to see. She grabbed my hand and said thank you, I've never touched hands as soft as hers. Like Prince, I sweated through my own outfit because I did not stop dancing for a second, I had to change inbetween shows. During one guitar solo I was going crazy and Prince looked at me and smiled, we totally shared a moment and I'm a total dork for just typing that.

I met wonderful people this past weekend. J7 you're the bomb, you kept me informed the whole time through your texts and I'm so glad you made it to the show so I could meet you. Brian I'm so glad I met you as well, had a great time drinking the Jack and hanging with you at the after show. I hope you had a great time too even though you probably thought I was and am a whack job. And to the other girl, Sharon? Is that your name?? I can't remember...anyway you were the cutest thing I've ever seen. I was watching you during the after show and you had the biggest smile on your face the whole time. It was fun watching you!!!

The night before I hung out with Renato for a little bit outside. He was actually very nice and took a picture with me. I told him I've spent thousands of dollars on the little man and I was finally getting paid back for it. He told me I should tell him that and I said "Nah, he'll probably tell me to read the bible". He agreed and replied in his very thick Brazilian accent "Yeah, he likes the Jehova".

I was right next to Prince during the aftershow. I was lucky to be in the spot where he was getting on and off the stage and hanging out. I was so close I could smell his lavander scent, see the lines on his face and even hear him talk to the sound guy as the band was playing. At one point I was joking around making a gesture with my hand like I was gonna grab his little bum, (IT'S LITTLE PEOPLE!!) I almost got caught when he turned around Also at one point I almost got creamed by a bouncer trying to get Shellby on stage. She was sooooo nice and her smile could stop traffic. She grabbed my hand and apologized and smiled at me as she got on stage to sing again. That girl can SING! And holy shit, Eve.....she could make me switch teams that's how beautiful she is!

J7 must not have seen Chelsea...I saw her and said hello and she gave me a dirty look. Whatever. I love LA but man, you can cut through the cattiness and bitchiness with a butter knife. Wiona Ryder was outside of the Roosevelt but I didn't see her at the show. Also Jessica Beale and Zooey D. (can't spell her last name) was there Friday night. Oh I also got a nasty look from Titus when I said WHAAAZZUUP TITUS? while I was dancing. His girlfriend was so lame and they were all over each other during the show. Barf puke gag.

I was a little worried about being able to get in Saturday. I was told tickets would be in my room, I get there NOTHING. I ask the hotel mangagment they know nothing. I ask the woman working the door she says she won't know till the next day. So I was kinda freaking out UNTIL I go eat breakfast downstairs from the hotel. I loved the waiters they were the cutest ever and I wanted to snuggle them to death. One of them pulls out the celebrity list and says "Oh look, Carrie Furtado...she must be Nelly's cousin or something" and I start yelling THAT'S ME THAT'S ME!!! So naturally my worries of being on the list diminished that very second. Before that there was a little old man with a cane sitting in a booth and he told me I could sit on his lap. I declined and said although I heard it was the best seat in the house I was going to stay where I was! We began chatting and I expressed my worries to him about getting into the show. I told him if I wasn't on the list I was going to burn the Roosevelt down to the ground. A man was taking our picture and then told me that the little old man was the mayor of Hollywood. DOH!

I'm sure I'll remember more things later. I had a long ass flight with screaming babies and no sleep. I also have a few pictures to post, I think I got a good one of Prince next to me at the aftershow but it's dark and I'm going to try to lighten it up when I get to work and have access to photoshop.

All in all best trip of my life. I know this post is all over the place but you'll just have to deal with it!

Oh ya...there was another woman in my booth who also won the contest. I'm wondering if you're here on the org??? You would nudge me everytime Prince came close and then naturally I went nuts running around and dancing and plowing through people. Did you ever get your phone??!!!

and summa that stuff about gettin 'tude from the LA crowd made me pee a little from laughing so hard!

Again, so VERY nice to meet you!! I wish you were at the show we were at, I think it was the best one out of all of them. And you must have left the after party early Friday? I think you mentioned that Prince didn't come out and someone told me he played around 4:30am. Hopefully I heard you wrong and you were able to see it!

It was so hard leaving Sat afternoon knowing that there was another show happening that night. Anyhow, I'd love to see copies of your photos.

You learn a lot about people when you travel with them. I love her dearly, I really do, but I'll never travel with her again. If she reads this, sorry, but it's the truth and I'll probably tell her anyway.

I only had one hour to get in my guests information along with mine. I was pressured and so caught up in the moment I wasn't thinking straight. I don't regret anything, except for possibly that last Jack and Coke...

Chelsea Rodgers was 1 of the people i did not mention on purpose. She was overlooking us from the balcony 4 most of the after show.

The girl in the fro wig wass not Tamar but some1 else. Mike Phillips only said her name like 6 times during the show. lol
