Rochester Airport from downtown Minneapolis? My first time in Minneapolis, I don't want to rent a car as I will be staying in a hotel downtown..
Anyone knows how far is Rochester Airport from downtown Minneapolis? Is there a train or bus service or taxi? | |

is that the main St. Paul/MPLS airport? if so, there is a light rail that goes downtown. if you're arriving at a different airport, there should still be some shuttle service that will take you to downtown minneapolis - have you checked the airport's web site? | |

If the hotel dont provide shuttle service from the Airport, you can book online a Super Shuttle (www.supershuttle.com) or similar service from the airport curb. It's usually $15 shared ride to your destination. Check if they service that airport though before you book a reservation. The one and only Technagirl | |

Well Rochester MN is about 90 miles from Minneapolis!

As previously mentioned the Mpls/St. Paul airport you could take the light rail all the way downtown or a cab etc. [Edited 7/1/07 11:21am] OK my google map is not working. Rochester is a good couple of hour drive away... I really don't recommend flying into/out of there. |

At one point there was a 25$ bus that ran from the Raddisson Hotel in Rochester to the Mpls airport...don't know if it still exists, but worth a try if you don't want to rent a car. | |

I was able to change airports (cost us my right arm ouch!)
