Ticket Price Variations

I was just wondering why the ticket prices seemed to vary so much from country to country? Is it something to do with venue capacity. I got my concert passes for the Dublin show during the NPGMC pre-sale for $63.50 but noticed that concert passes for some European venues were as much as $125 while for others as little as $35.If its not the capacity is it down to established demand versus an optimum price?

Venue size certainly counts, but everything costs different amounts in different countries.
Most things cost more in the UK than the rest of Europe !!
