Who would have thought eek
I made a gamble by getting tickets (3 months ago) for the live earth thing in wembley.
O.K. i made a mistake by thinking that prince would come lol
So now i am in london next week already!
Maybe you will see me holding up my red, whit and blue flag (the dutch one) in front of the stage!!

The funny thing is its bin over 12 years ago that i was in london, and now it will be 2x in 30 days.Because i also got tickets for the 02 on 17&18 augst.
Looking forward two check out london again.

Greetings

I'll be there too Muziek. I was hoping for Prince, but can't complain with all the shows coming up in the summer. The line up is pretty decent all the same on 7/7/7. I have seen the Foos and Chili Peppers a few times before and they haven't disappointed. Looking forward to some of the others even if they aren't my normal cup of tea. Have seen a few others at festivals, Bloc Party (excellent when I saw them), Keane etc..... can't knock seeing the old bird Madonna too, and we don't have to pay stupid money for the honour.

Not sure how some of the others will go down, Beastie Boys, Metallica, Spinal Tap....could be too much of an acquired taste for this mass audience kind of thing?

Should be a good day out all the same, lets hope it isn't pissing it down.

I'm going to got seats in blcok 143 which should be good because its on the lowest tier and pretty close. Can't believe I'm going, only got tickets yesturday so I am still on cloud 9. It will help the wait for Prince in septemner seem so long, as I have something else to look forward to. And Madonna biggrin can't wait to see her - saw her in Cardif last year and that was amazing, can't wait to see her again (without paying £150!)

Muziek, Im going on the 17th August too! Cant wait. Saw Madonna a few years ago in Slane, Ireland, It was "fine". Maybe it just wanted a show for the outdoors and lashing rain, or maybe Im just too old for Slane! It was fun I guess, but not a patch on Prince live!!!!! headbang
