The fact that he played "GIVE IT TO ME BABY" and "MORE BOUNCE TO THE OUNCE" was just MIND BLOWIN. Taking into consideration, he use to be the openining act for BOTH : ) I wish I could have been a fly on the wall for that one : )

So....I am wondering what time I should get to the show this Saturday. Since he came on after midnight this past weekend...and it will be an all night event...I'd prefer to not get there too early and then be tired. Can anyone who went to the Roosevelt suggest a good arrival time? Thanks!

has any1 commented about the connection between him re-establsihing contact with W&L and re-discovering the Beatles?

Is it coincidence that Sir Paul just released a new album? Would it be completely ridiculous to imagine a aurprise guest appearance in London?

No new CD. Saturday night, not the night I attended, they were giving out perfume samples on peopl.e

Jon Bream reported the CD would be given out at the MPLS show, but as far as I KNOW, they will be handed out at the O2 shows only at this time.

Questions for those that have had GA tix for the Roosevelt shows: How crowded is the GA section? Is there a bar service in the Blossom Room for the GA section? Is the Blossom Room really warm during the show?

the GA area was a bit crowded but not crazy crowded.. I had a jacket and wasn't too hot.. the bar is right outside the room, and they let you walk in and out with your wristband..

they did let everyone in, we just walked right to the lobby... It was funny, some folks were so tired, they fell asleep in the sofas.. lol

I myself was about to pass out from exhaustion, but let me tell ya, I woke up when Prince walked in and hit the stage...!

J7 thanks so much for the review, I'm not good at doing those... ;p

Just to add to this, the guy Prince hugged at the aftershow was his lawyer, Londell mc millian...

Man I hope they add 2 more dates soon, cuse the shows this week are indeed sold out for GA tickets.. just got an email myself about it...

I thought it was him, but that is his former lawyer. It is all good. Thanks 4 claryfying. I was not sure.

26. Sometimes It Snows In April. (At the end of the song, Wendy stood up and kissed Prince. Awesome.
I wish it was officially videotaped and released on DVD.

Is anyone interested in splitting the cost of the Reserve Seat pagkage for Saturday (30th)? I live in Phoenix, but just happen to be in LA this weekend for a music producer conference. I tried to get one GA tix for Saturday, but no luck. (After reading j7's review/set list, I'm willing to pay half of the 3121, but will be flying solo.) As of Sunday, the HRH Reservations indicated there are still Reserved packages available.

Not out of the question! McCartney is doing a gig today for 300 people at Ameoba records on Sunset.
