Word around Paisley Park Studios is that designer/photographer Steve Parke has been asked 2 come onboard 4 a special project that is xpected 2 "evolutionize" the look and feel of the entire studio. Could this be in anticipation of the big 777 event next month in Minneapolis? We sure hope so, our flight is booked!

Small Friday night parties back in the day,admission was generally $7.00.

In 2004 NPGMC sent an e-mail, which you had very little time to respond 2, like 48 hrs or something, stating if you wanted to go to the afterparty at PP it was $50 and you paid through the NPGMC site. Then you go to PP and get a pass and wait in line. It was TOTALLY worth the $50 because you got to see Prince and so many others jam like you have never seen in a regular concert. I even got to get on stage and dance! It was great!!! He walked around in the crowd before the concert got started and was so down to earth talking with people. Then during the day, there were tours of PP recording studios. I cannot say I have ever had such a personable experience as this with an artist. He really went out of his way to make us feel at home. They even sold lemonade while you were waiting in line for the afterparty!

With Musicology, you could also go out to PP during the day to get tics for the afterparty.

That is how I ended up going and let me tell you it is worth far more than $50.
