I won a front row ticket, but i'm gutted (Not gutted anymore, all is sorted and I am a happy bunny LOL) Well, its all sorted now and I have my booking confirmed and transacted.
I got a winning bid today for 1 front row ticket for the 21st sept. ticket master emailed me with the confirmation that I had won and that money would be transacted from my account. unfortunately I had brought another gold VIP package this morning and this purchase lowered the funds in my bank account a little bit and as a result I am probably gonna lose the front row seat that I won later today, I am now gutted. I wish that I had not brought that VIP package this morning, it would have saved me my front row ticket . ticketmaster are looking into it and might allow me more time, i just need a few days. tomorow I am planning to sell my phone and i am borrowing noney from friends to put into my account, it has to be done by 4pm and its saterday tomorow so banks close early, wish me luck! thank you, well after selling my phone and borrowing money from friends and running around all day, I managed to put sufficient amounts of funds in my bank account today. wickyb said: No credit card?
yes I purchased it with a credit card but since I had also purchased a gold reception ticket yesterday morning by which the funds in my bank account went down, so I had to put in more money in my bank account today, which I just did today...phew lovealotbare said: Err how much was your one front row tickect and were u told exactly which seat it is...as one gets told on the £31.21 tickets? just curious as i'm thinking to have a laugh with my bank it was 620 pounds for 1 ticket, no seat numbers, they just sent me an email when the auction closed, to say congratulations and that I have a winning bid and that they will transact 620 pounds from my account [Edited 6/16/07 13:24pm] Feel free to send me a message and add me as a friend on 'My Space' http://www.myspace.com/murtazaarif

OMG, why on earth did you pay such a crazy amount ? Viagogo is currently auctioning off two tickets for the 21st for floor seats front row for £202 (for the both) and it closes within an hour so it won't get much higher. You've been really had ! IMHO, TM & AEG are a bunch of ruthless crooks. They are even worse than scalpers, selling off tickets outside the regular system for insane prices !!

I had no idea what people would bid and I really wanted these tickets so I bid high, its always a once in a lifetime opportunity in seeing prince, well worth it. I'm not surprised that people are now paying up to £700 as well. Feel free to send me a message and add me as a friend on 'My Space' http://www.myspace.com/murtazaarif

I've seen Prince about 30 times and I have friends who've seen him more than 100 times... AEG has really got everybody in a spin, it seems. But hey, it's your money, you're free to spend it on whatever, but it makes more sense to me to pay 31.21 for lower tier (from which you have a good view too) and see all 21 concerts instead of spending it all on one... And for that once in a lifetime... he'll probably be back in a few years like he always does.(hopefully touring the entire Europe, this time)

[Edited 6/18/07 15:17pm] I really really hope that you get a great view after spending all that money. I remember being three front row and three rows from the stage during Lovesexy and not being able to see anything that was going from the middle to the back. The only compensation was that both times I was on the side of the stage where Sheila spent the most time . The rest of the nights I was a good few rows back and enjoyed the gigs a lot more. Hope that's not the case for your tix though and you have an amazing experience!

There are auctions for front row floor seats going for hundreds of pounds but it seems that these are pretty shite seats as you don't get to see too much of whats going on on other parts of the stage! Those that saw Musicology, is this true??!!

I went to Musicology and was on the front row at several shows and had no problem seeing the other side of the stage but I'm 5'9" in heels so that prolly helped. I also won front row seats to the show on 20/09 but I'm not worried about the view at all.
