PRINCE'S "3121" LIVE AT
THE HOLLYWOOD ROOSEVELT HOTEL
PRESENTED BY VERIZON WIRELESS, V CAST Song ID
AND THOMPSON HOTELS

In an unprecedented Los Angeles event,
Purple will Reign for seven special intimate performances
starting Saturday, June 23rd at the legendary Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel

Hollywood, CA (June 18, 2007) - Pop music icon Prince will be taking up residency and bringing "3121" exclusively to Thompson Hotels', Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel this summer, presented by Verizon Wireless. For possibly the last time in Los Angeles, the royal purple carpet will be rolled out for his Hollywood homecoming and the artist has chosen the legendary hotel for seven exclusive, intimate performances commencing Saturday, June 23rd, 2007.

Reminiscent to Prince's legendary after hours parties in his Beverly Hills home, a select audience of 200 friends and fans will have an incredible opportunity to witness Prince firsthand in Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel's Blossom Room, home of the first Academy Awards. Known for his spontaneity, Prince has frequently invited musicians onstage for impromptu performances. Past surprise guests have included Sir Elton John, Will.I.Am, Kelis, Sheila E., Herbie Hancock , Maroon 5 and more.

"The 3121 sessions at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel will offer admirers close-up and personal evenings with a musical legend," states Jason Pomeranc, of Thompson Hotels. "We are honored and excited to host, both artists and guests alike, for this once in a lifetime experience inside the Roosevelt's beautiful and historic, Blossom Room."

At the 3121 sessions Prince will debut new music including "Guitar," the first single from his much anticipated unreleased album, "Planet Earth." 3121 guests can download "Guitar" right at the venue for free courtesy of Verizon Wireless' new technology V CAST Song ID.

"When Prince, who has consistently been on the cutting edge of music, harnesses innovative technology to deliver his fresh new music, that's a tremendous opportunity for music lovers," said John Stratton, executive vice president and chief marketing officer of Verizon. "At Verizon, we're committed to delivering powerful, direct and relevant music experiences and we are pleased to be executing on this through our relationship with Prince and the legendary Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel."

The evening will begin at the Dakota restaurant with Prince's personal chef Lena Morgan presenting a VIP dinner, taking over the kitchen from executive chef Tim Goodell. Then the 130 special guests, along with another 70 standing room only attendees, will be welcomed into the Blossom Room for a musical performance like no other. Following every two-hour performance, fans can experience a late-night impromptu jazz set presided over by Prince.

VIP packages, including dinner at the Dakota (tax, alcohol, and gratuity excluded), will be limited to 130 seats, sold in pairs (65) for $3121.00. An additional 70, standing room only tickets will be made available for $312.10 each.

Ticket and VIP package requests will be serviced via email at 3121HRH@ThompsonHotels.com

Prince is back in town-- his town, following recent sold-out performances in Las Vegas. 3121 Live at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel will be his last stop before commencing "21 Nights in London" this fall with a possible World Tour to follow.

3121 Los Angeles News 777 Update Version

O. K. I have some news regarding 3121 Los Angeles.

A LOT of it is pending right now but I feel it is better to look out for you guys so you have an idea of when shows are happening and prices. Now, I will say if you are coming from out of town, or whatever, DON'T BUY PLANE TICKETS OR START BOOKING HOTELS...because this info is pending and because this is Prince we are talking about, anything can change. Now that I got that out of the way.....

The standing room only tickets R going 2 be $312.01.

The tables will be $3,121.00 including dinner, table service and the after show. This is for a pair of tickets and you will have your own table.

The first show could happen as early as this weekend.

There will be shows on Friday & Saturday but not every weekend.

He will NOT be performing the weekend of 07/07/07 at this time.

There may be more than the original 7 shows that were agreed to, which would effect ticket and table prices.

Just to add on, a friend of mine with verizon wireless service texted, and upon receiving instructions back, said you have to sign up for their V-cast service to enter the contest.. so it's actually not "free" to enter...

Thanks for the update J... Hopefully tix will be available soon... smile

In addition, I heard there's a potential for 3 shows and afershows this week (Thursday, Friday, Saturday) and 4 shows and afershows next week (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday) which would satisfy the 7 show requirement with the Roosevelt. Looks like these shows are gonna be a LOT more intimate than expected due to low ticket sales. I'd look for confirmation to come today or tomorrow because if it's gonna happen they'll know today.

But it makes no sense since no tix are currently available yet you're trying to sell out 3 shows at ridiculously high prices the same week they're possibly announced. Oh well, the joys of being a Prince fan continue. . . wink biggrin

For $312.01, do you get the whole night or just the first concert? Specifically, do you get the aftershow?

I doubt it Rodeo. The place where the after show will be held is very small and could more than likely be filled with just $3,000 tix.

This is the Roosevelt we are talking about, which is filled with the uber rich and the celeb crowd. He is making his chips and the Roosevelt needs to make their money back.

OMG! $3121.00!! I went to 3121 4 times in Vegas all VIP and 3 of them with aftershows. Drove twice, flew commercial once, flew private once, with hotel...I might of spent around that for all 4 times. I love you P but have fun with your celeb friends on this round. I hope to see you next time you're here on the Westcoast. Have fun everyone and be safe smile

No, after you send the text message to 8600, you receive one back saying that you need to download the SongID application (which is free) to enter the contest. I had downloaded it previously, but there was an upgrade available that installed. Hopefully that will count for an entry also.

I don't see myself paying that much for my son and I to go either. No one I know in my life would pay to see him period. And I would only be taking my son as my escort...so hot damn, if I am gonna pay that kinda money for even Prince sad And I won't pay 312.01 to stand all night. Jeeez..this sucks big time!

Yeah, he's high.

I can see about 20 other acts in Los Angeles this month for that same amount of money... I DO UNDERSTAND that Prince has the right to earn whatever he wants and might need to supplement here and there for other projects down the road -- but I'm losing patience because lately it only seems to be about charging insane amounts of money for, quite honestly, mediocre shows of predictable set-lists.

I'll pass.

I don't think I've ever sat at any of the 23 Prince shows I've been to. Why would I need a table? I'm happy to get a standing room ticket at such an intimate show.

$312.01...that's f***ing ridiculous! Somebody is smokin crack. I saw the guy in Vegas 2wice this year for alot less and got to sit next to him an aftershow...that only cost me $20!!! I'll wait for a major tour. The only way I would pay that much is it was his farewell tour or something like that. Maybe he'd attract more fans if he made the prices a little mo' reasonable.
