Prince/Rolling Stones Jam Possible?

I posted this at Housequake yesterday but the org seemed to be down. For those who do not always read both boards....

Check out the schedule for dates at the O2 in London. Prince and the Stones will be flip-flopping in August. Think they'll check each other out? Think there might be some sort of collaboration? It has happened in the past!

Sat 08/18/07 Prince

Tue 08/21/07 The Rolling Stones

Thu 08/23/07 The Rolling Stones

Fri 08/24/07 Prince

Sat 08/25/07 Prince

Sun 08/26/07 The Rolling Stones

Tue 08/28/07 Prince

Was the whole band on the same stage as Prince? Ever?
As far as this 'fan' knows: Prince opened up for the Stones in the early days and he was boooohd off stage. Later in his career (1986?) he had one Stones member on stage?

Please enlighten us.
Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.

Nope. I know nothing about the whole band ever playing with him. I know the same as you, he opened for the Stones in the early 80's. Ron Wood jammed with him on Miss You. He has been known to cover Honkey Tonk Woman, I know Jagger at least (as well as Wood) is reportedly a fan.

NNOOO, I hope not, I just wanna see 100% Prince, that's what I'm paying and traveling to see, maybe at some of the Indigo shows after but not the main arena shows.

Won't it be great if they decide to open for each other.

We could then throw apple cores and banana skins at them!

Please. After seeing Doug E Fresh show up and ruin aftershow time and time again, I can't see myself "Suffering" with Prince and the Stones on stage together. If they did it right, it would be stuff to tell future generations. If they did it poorly it would still be better than most guests he has brought on stage. Remember, Tony M was in the BAND...
