The nightbuses in the area run all night, but only a couple go back to central London. We could always arrange an org taxi share, and I have a sofa bed if anyone is gets stuck! Full details of night buses: http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tfl...h-2191.pdf I'm looking out for a purple dolphin.

If it is the Indigo2 as reported, I don't fancy our chances of all getting transport from the venue at that time of night. You can't really walk anywhere from the Dome and if the Indigo2 holds 2,300ish then that's a hell of a lot of taxis!! It seems safe to assume that there will be a VIP element. Assuming a General Admission floor set-up, the club has several tiers of tables in the front of the balcony, behind which appears to be several hundred tiered seats, behind whih there is some standing room. So you'll probably have several options, priced accordingly: (1) stand all day in line outside the club in order to stake out a primo stagefront standing spot (the "comfortable shoes only" option); (2) pay more for a table and bottle service and a relatively unobstructed balcony view (the "look at all those uncivilized stagefront heathens elbowing each other, I'm glad we're rich" option); (3) a seat in the back of the balcony (otherwise known as the "if those rich assholes would sit at their fuckin' table and not dance, I'd have a clear view of Maceo" option.); and (4) standing room in the back of the balcony (otherwise know as the "if I hadn't waited for your slow ass, we could have exercised option 3" option). As usual. . . in rare form.

Guess you need to subscribe to see the music week post, but there already seems a contradiction if other people are lready signe up to play there. I can see Prince liking Joss Stone and apparently Dr John plays Jazz so who knows, but Ricky Skaggs...please
Anyway, if the Koko got renamed to 3121 for the one off gig and if you look at the Koko website for August and September there are a lot of free dates. Would love to hear Uniques view on this as he's had me trampling around London before http://www.koko.uk.com/ but hey if it happens it happens, guess it will probably be through Ticketmaster as I must say the organisation for the Koko was good even with the celebrity stiffs in the balcony. Forget about the Auction, Golden Circle an all the other crap, it's just good to see the man perform where he's really at home on a small stage. But hey if he is gonna do the Indigo, due you think he'll bring his chef along to come out of the tent that the wonderfull Sun newspaper say he's gonna live in to cook at the Indigo

Oh no, oh no, oh no, that's *miles* from the venue and it'll take forever by tube (although it is a gorgeous venue) I'm looking out for a purple dolphin.

But hey if he is gonna do the Indigo, due you think he'll bring his chef along to come out of the tent that the wonderfull Sun newspaper say he's gonna live in to cook at the Indigo i would doubt dr john would play with prince, i can see him guesting with weller (as he may have already done, weller that is), but i'm not sure about prince digging his voodoo. there were digs from the npgmc camp about joss stone's first album being full of covers and needing to find her chops, and she is very much under attack for trying to act american, not to mention her recent album not being very great, but when has any of that put prince off? i've got no idea if he will do the koko, but there is talk of aftershows every nite at the indigo, so if he is doing that, then thats 42 shows, and it would make sense to keep everything together. whilst other acts are playing the indigo, prince can have his aftershows afterwards, so that means no running about london if he does do "surprise" shows, then i think they will be on nights he isn't playing at the o2, that is if he plays at another venue. i'm kind of thinking that as he played koko already, he would choose another place next time. usually these things are planned with very short notice, so it's a case of take whatever venue you can get at short notice, which is why he couldn't get an aftershow after the brits but of course, this is all guesswork, anything can happen in princeworld at any princetime. just look out for the camels...

Hmmm
Just checked the Indigo2 website. It seems there are other acts booked on the 3rd / 4th August. Strange, isn't a certain other act performing at the 02 on both of those nights? If so, this pouts paid to the rumours about Prince doing aftershows there after each regular concert...? Unless Prince fancies elbowing his way in and blowing Ricky Scaggs off the stage. Or playing alongside...? Curious. LARASAVAGE

Dr John / Ricky Skaggs gigs are at 7pm. Prince is going to be busy then with his own shows. The aftershows (if they do indeed happen) will be after 11pm. On July 7 Bedford Bandstand is playing at 7pm then the Timbaland/JT afterparty is at 11pm.

An aftershow wouldn't start until a couple of hours after Dr. John etc finish.

LARASAVAGE most aftershows start after midnite, some as late as 3am. most normal shows finish around 10.30pm-11pm, so there is plenty of time to end one gig, clean the place up, and let fans in to wait 3 or 4 hours for prince to turn up. the hippodrome aftershow started at 2.50am and ended about 5am. the marquee aftershow started around 2am and ended 3am. the paisley park aftershows in 2004 all started at midnite and went on till around 4am. i think prince was playing purple rain then adore after 4.30am. i remember come 4.30am at the hippodrome he started kicking out lets go crazy/she's always in my hair/kiss/cream/u got the look

Anything could happen and let's face it Prince is very spontaneous so the aftershow details may appear at short notice Maybe even at the gigs themselves as i have experienced during the early 90's! I personally would love to see an aftershow in addition to the 2 concerts i am going to on 17th August and 9th September! I have seen Prince 21 times between 1990 and 2002 with yet to experience that type of atmosphere although the closest was possibly the hammersmith show in 2002? Where have all the raspberry women gone?

Except my house - i live just up the road! yeah i'm not far too... i may start a taxi service.... pay back some of those princely funds that i owe the bank!!! I just came from the first nite at the O2 arena it was a Greenwich borough community event... and the arena looks amazin, he certainly chose the best venue for his crowning stage! The sound was great (and that was with out princes sound team...) I was at Wembley seeing muse at the weekend and it was just like old wembley only taller, with the worst eating / cashpoint facilities!! The O2 upper tier is high though, be warned!!! But we all gona have a fab view, just as its promoted.... not sure about those on the floor right up near the stage though. And the Indigo is swish, with the best sound , lights, decor etc...its not over the top! just make sure you get floor standing ticket for indigo.....Don't do VIP...its in a balcony...a lovely relaxed lots of leg room at the front BALCONY... ..got it! and i spoke to an insider who said there might be an aftershow every nite... and she was very positive on the might.... so i took that as a yes....but couldn't confirm that he himself would play at every one of em ..... but if he was gona play after the gig it would be there!!! She works for AEG live...unfortunately i didnt come out with my torturing equipment....so that was all i could get out of her.....!!
