i'm having to sit through some crap music, i expect tix will go on sale tomorrow, looks like it's all gearing up for major promo though i.e. Guitar being record of the week on Radio 2 etc.
By the way most of the music played on 'BBC radio 6 music' is great. | |

I still find it incredible he can sell that many tickets in London. That's 357,000 seats.
I was hoping that the remaining dates would be in small venues. Fingers crossed for aftershows. At least with that much money being generated (and minimal travel/transport costs), a lot can be spent on making the show spectacular. |

Prince extends tour (Monday June 11, 2007 12:20 AM) Prince will announce details of the final concerts on his record-breaking London residency this week, according to reports. The pop legend, who has already sold-out 15 shows in the UK capital, will play a further six gigs at the O2 Arena on his Planet Earth tour. The shows will be confirmed later this week, with tickets going on-sale on Friday. They are expected to take place in August and September. The total of 21 concerts will put Prince further ahead of Status Quo for the most areas shows in London, trumping their 14 consecutive nights. Tickets are also set to go on-sale for a series of aftershow jam sessions, at the 2,300-capacity venue The Indigo, which will star The New Power Generation each night. Prince, who will also feature at the aftershow gatherings, has moved to deny reports the Live Earth concerts will see him play his greatest hits for the final time, reports Music Week. The group are understood to have rehearsed around 150 songs, including a version of The Beatles' "The Long And Winding Road" and Amy Winehouse's "Love Is A Losing Game".
