Where to stay in London ? Dear Orgers.
I bought a ticket for the o2 show august 10 2007. I plan to stay in london 4- 5 days to spend some time in this lovely city. what area would be nice to stay ? I would like to stay in a 3-4 star hotel in a area that is central, cool and with some nice restaurants, cultural sights, trendy cafe´s - clubs ; you know. It would be nice if it was near the o2 arena.. but its not nessarry if this area sucks... I dont know london, so I will appreciate some good advice about places to eat, stay, listen to cool music.. etc. Looking forward to go to London.. It will be my first Prince concert outside Denmark. Staying anywhere north of the river is going 2 b a nightmare after the concert finishes, unless tubes are running late...which most of the time they do not. and there are no bridges near the o2 2 take you over to docklands and into London.

a) at what time do the shows probably finnish? b) what is 'running late'for London tubes? 0:00? 01:00? 02:00? c) what other transportation (taxi?) is around in this metropole? Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.

a) dont thinking anyone knows yet ... would say about 11.30
b) tubes last one is at 00:14 have seen... BUT seeing as there have been no gigs at the O2 yet...they might put late ones on otherwise it would b chaos and disorder! c) taxis will cost a fortune and the queue to grab one...it would be quicker to walk!!
