Merchandise for the Planet Earth Tour Not sure if this ones been discussed before so I will see if any one has any ideas.
In the handfull of times ive been to see him before ive only been able to get limited stuff from the merchandise sellers or its been at crazy prices - anyone know whats been on sale at the recent shows and if this will be stepped up at the 02? To be honest it seems such a money spinner and he must have some of that good stuff that was on sale on the music club site. Apart from the usual programes and t -shirts id like to see stuff that was recorded profesionally but never released like the musicology tour - i mean if a dvd of that was sold at a reasonable price can you think how many people going the 21 shows at the 02 are going to make a purchase, the same for unreleased music - probably wont happen though will it!! Do you think theres any legalities stopping him from selling unreleased music/video on the tour - it would be the ultimate way of distributing hes stuff

I know that acts in the past have sold a live cd of the gig within minutes of it ending. Don't know how they get them done so quick, but that would be really cool if he did that as the free cd (rather than the new album which it sounds more like). Also it says retain ticket for free cd, do you think we have to trade our tickets to be given a cd. Hope not because I like to keep all my tickets, depends what cd it is though, if it's the new album we will all have it before we go so I wouldn't be bothered

Yep i really think hes missed a trick with the whole music club thing going and all the crap with ticketmaster happening.
I think he likes touching the music up too much to release it at the end of a gig - cant see it sounding like ONA live! I think that we will need to present our ticket at the end of the gig and then get a cd by one of the many ushers at the exit - logic says that they take a quick look (if at all) and pass us the cd with us retaining our ticket! I really hope the free cd thing is imaginative - its obviously gonna be Planet Earth, but to get the same cd from multiple shows with P knowing that ppl will be catching more than one show!! Hope its at least provided with different packaging for each show - would be nice! even better would have been a veriety of merchandise items to pick from!
