I was tempted to buy row 2 next to the stage upperdeck just now but I am still pissy with Prince over this concert set-up and my experience in Vegas so he's not getting our money.

The opposite of the stage seats are in many ways ideal because they give you a straight on view of the stage and the seats aren't all that that far away. I on several occasion, due to the npgmc, had floor seats for Prince shows at various arena's. The only time floor seats were stellar were during the Musicology tour when I was within the 1st 10 rows or so. Believe me, something row 17 of the floor ain't actually all that great-especially if any of the 16 rows ahead of you is tall.
