I HATE TICKETMASTER MORE THAN MACY'S

I see the seating chart... the floor, upper level, lower level great.

Now when the hell is ticketass going to release information on which level each price is. a level dont mean shit to me. WHERE are the 77 dollar seats EXACTLY??? WHERE are the 97 dollar seats EXACTLY???

HELLO????

Why do we have to go through so much BS just to see a dayum concert? I dont ever experience so much drama, then when I wanna see my favorite artist.

And 4 ticket limit? great, that means my fam can't sit together. And dont gimme no bullshit bout its to prevent scalping. TICKETMASTER is scalping with that auction. And what do you think folkx who bout TEN of those macy's pkgs are gonna do?

I'm pissed off and all this is starting to dampen my excitement. Ya'll feeling me? or am I the only one?

I could not agree more. I really haven't dealt with TM much, since I was a member of the club. I usually only buy theatre tickets from them. This is just crazy. Other than the current White House administration, I can't think of an organization that I hate more than TM.

It's all smoke and mirrors. TM's actions are not designed to prevent scalpers. You CAN'T prevent scalpers because they will ALWAYS find a way to make money. Besides, how do you correctly identify scalpers? What's the profile? You NEVER know someone's full intentions when they buy concert tickets. So all of this auction mess just drives up the price so fans can't afford to purchase tickets. It actually works in the favor of scalpers or the ticket pimps/brokers who can afford to pay these ridiculous prices. The REAL fans are the ones who lose out with crappy seats and an inability to pay for better expensive seats. sad

I feel ya, the best seats I ever got for a Prince show other than npgmc was from ebay.

The distribution of tix for this show is unprecedented foolishness. One Macy's pre-sale would have been enough...instead we have;

Macy's
Ticketmaster auction
Ticketmaster regular
3131perfume.com

all with different start dates and times. Not to mention the ticket broker sites with tix as high as $2000 and all the various ebay auctions.

AND NOWHERE IN ANY OF THIS CONFABULATION WAS ANY PROVISION MADE FOR LOYAL, LONGTIME FANS/CLUB MEMBERS OF THE NOW DEFUNCT NPGMC.

At least I know where I stand. lol

No doubt. Hardcore fans got left in the dust on this one. It's a shame because being hardcore fans we would pay out the ass to be guaranteed "the good seats". It would have made for a more lively floor and good will all around.

I think, for whatever reason, and I wish I knew why, the NPGMC is done with. I'm just confused about the 3121 setup because I did register my email and cellphone and didn't get any message about the concert.

I hope it won't be like the HardRock show...when he played his newer material lots of folks up front were clueless, waiting to hear Purple Rain.

I registered also and I haven't gotten anything since the London announcement. Looks like for now, the fam era is over. 3121/Planet Earth will be the VIP and $$ era...hope it works out to his satisfaction.

Well, it would be nice if some of P's people read these boards and they tried to come up with something to make it easier for the fans. Because, TM is no better than the scalpers/brokers. Beyonce's top ticket price is $99, yet the auction for the first seven rows is $220! That's just crazy. And I don't even want to see Beyonce. Her concert was just on the TM homepage for Chicago.

Although I will NOT be there I do hope it will be like that.
Let people that don't need to be there know that there's more than the old stuff. If you don't enjoy it, don't go to concerts. More tickets for us that way...

I'm glad I've seen Prince numerous times when he was in his prime. I don't want to deal with any of this crap and I'd probably skip the show if he came to my town.

I'm spoiled too because I've almost always been in the front 10 rows for his concerts and I sure wouldn't want to sit in the back. I saw one outdoor concert of his from the "lawn" seating and it was totally unsatisfying and forgettable. I know the music would still be good, but I can listen to that at home.
